Very interesting experience. Colorful buildings. An old ice cream factory turned hotel/hostel/residence. Pool on property and parking usually available. I didn't get the breakfast package but it was mediocre. $22 or so a person. Worth it just to try but it's best to venture out. The pool was nice. No hot tub. The staff were nice and informative. Also no really hot water, just tolerable enough to take a warm shower with open stall style. Yes, water will get on the floor even if you're careful. It was quaint for what it was and overall I would stay here again.

We stayed on the Ritz for 10 days. The main rooms are very small, in the room description l, the rooms are sound proof, which they are not we could hear the conversations ams snoring of our neighbors, black out curtains, which there were not, our room faced the service desk which was very bright, it was lile tjere was a light on in the room all night. Bedding, they only provided sheets and 1 pillow for 2 people, I requested additional pillows and blankets, the blacket was a very thin throw blanket. When room service cleaned the room and they exchanged the towels (set of 2) we only got 1 set in return, i had to ask every time for another set. Most of the front desk staff were unpleasent. The location was not quite as close as we expected, but still not too far from downtown. The main pool was nice, with a fun bar.

A nice, large and clean room. The fridge was a bit old and frosted up. It’s ready for replacement. We broke a glass late one night and it would have been nice to have a broom and dust pan in house. These are small things. The staff, every one from desk cleaning and bar were absolutely lovely. Made for a great stay. Dani!

Easy check in. Incredible interesting “village”. A little museum for the history (unexpected). Decor of sculptures from your preferal vision looks like real people so gives an atmosphere of people around when in reality it’s just you and your partner. Lending libraries. Very unique! Would definitely stay here again. Are only here for 1 night disappointingly because there’s a lot to experience in the Ritz Village.

Breakfast was nice and staff was responsive. Nice view from the balcony but i didnt get to enjoy it because the way it was built, there is a screen separating the living room area to the balcony You can only open the screen from the inside but cant close it from the outside balcony Due to that, mosquitoes enters the apartment. Not sure way the developer didnt put a switch on the outside to close the screen to prevent mosquitoes from entering the apartment, its such an easy fix but they cut corners. Also at night when ligjts are on in the apartment, other guests can see inside, there should be a curtain separating at the screen door to the balcony for privacy. Again, the developer cutting corners, not sure why deveopler wants guests to look into otther guests apartment. I wouldn't stay here again

I had a great stay and the people that work their are great people. If you are staying at the basic or standard rooms it is like staying at a motel 6 in the states. The area looks shady, but you have nothing to worry about. You can walk to the town where the fun is in about 10 minutes and the taxis are available 24/7. The pool is great and for the price this place is a gem. My only issue was a bed was a bit noisy....

A local called it a “crack house hotel”! Not nice. Old rooms are disgusting. 8 inch drop into room. Curtains are old and gross. Just run down and not nice at all. Restaurant closed at 10 pm, could not get food. Long walk to find anything else. Very disappointing, pictures on line gave a different impression, very deceiving.

This is a cool little hotel with lots of history. Located in the city's heart, you can walk everywhere from the location and ample parking. It has 2 pools and a nice beach/pool at the top of the hill. My only complaint is they don't have mini-fridges in the room.

I did not like that fact that I booked a standard room that I had to pay money to get a beach towel when they have pools on the property. The deluxe apartments the towel was included. The standard rooms need an upgrade bad. No concierge to help with luggage. Sometimes no hot water.

This hotel is definitely overlooked , I have a penthouse suite apartment. I felt safe , comfortable. Staff was amazing I like how they keep the front gate closed at night with two security’s onsite. Downtown you can really walk. I felt really safe I was on a solo trip but I had no worries in this hotel . Room was not bad at all ! Pool area was clean.

Waitresses rude & don't make you feel welcome, stopped going to restaurant 2nd day.( we were there for 3 weeks) front desk ladies rude and lots of attitude. The place is near everything and walking distance of things to see and not far to go to visit beaches. You can reach the west end of the island in 60 minutes. We had a small kitchen and used it every day for breakfast and lunch or dinner. We found local place plaza Bieu where you can get local cuisine for $11 so we ate take out from there. The two pools are nice but the bigger ones want you to eat and drink their stuff. Not super clean and room is dark. Bring European plug to charge your phone.

I like that the property was easy to locate and it's central in downtown area. The location is great with a nice view depending what you booked. Because i book a panoramic penthouse and it was great option for the money. Only thing is that they need to provide daily shower towels. But the pool is clean and located at the back and it's nice a quiet for relaxing. If you have a car it is safe to park at the Ritz and no extra fees for parking. Security service or guards are on top of there job. The make sure that only guest are parking inside and also at night the main gate are closed with security guards outside will let you in. Well I must say that we enjoyed our stay.

Great place

We had booked a standard room and were bumped to a deluxe apartment when we arrived. The room was really nice and modern. The hotel is within short walking distance to Punda and the floating bridge. The urban beach pool was really nice and we used it lots. The only concern I had was where we parked, to get out was a very tight road with some blind spots and always made me a little nervous coming and going.
