I had planned a 'staycation' with my daughter & liked the location of this condo. The unit was dated. There was a stale odor upon arrival either from smoking or the carpet needed to be deep cleaned. The coffee pot 'please clean' light was on and the light over the stove in the microwave was burned out. The fireplace was nonfunctional. There was no heat in the bathrooms, and I had to step over the toilet to get into the shower. The most frustrating aspect was the faulty lock on the entrance door. We ended up locking it from the inside and exiting via the patio...having to leave the unit open. Thus, we had to lock valuable in the car every time we went out. The manager, Riley, was responsive & polite but ineffective. He said he would notify maintenance about the various issues. Given the circumstances, we decided to check out a day early and just go home. I requested a refund for that last day but was denied. It's sad that this business operates this way. This is the first negative experience that I have had with a VRBO property.
