Staff is great super friendly, room however needs some tlc. Wall plug was falling out of the wall, face plates for switch and outlets were broken, at least a few of them were. Need to install and exhaust fan in the bathroom. Marriott is a good spot for a couple day visit

We loved the breakfast. Close to shopping, museums, restaurants, etc. It was quiet and got the most part the staff were helpful. What we didn’t like is the fire alarm went off are like 4 am. No one ever came to let everyone know to evacuate. We went in the hall and called down to find out about the fire and the people on our floor waited to see what to do. The man at the front desk who answered said he didn’t believe there was a fire and we could go back to our rooms if we wanted. We told the people on our floor we were leaving out the building. Everyone pretty much on our floor left out when they say we did, but a better system needs to be put in place for fires / evacuations or in the future people may lose their life. The fire department did come. Also, we asked for a discount or points or something for the inconvenience, but haven’t heard anything back yet.

We booked our suite while "on the road" and couldn't have been more delighted when we arrived late in the evening on 8/27/25. The lobby smelled incredible and was sparkling. We were greeted by a very gracious desk host who couldn't have been kinder. In fact there is not a staff member that we encountered who did not greet us with a smile and was not kind and accommodating. Our suite was spacious, clean and met our needs perfectly. The mattresses were firm, the shower/shower head was fantastic. The breakfast offerings the following morning were wonderful. When we checked out on the morning of August 28, the day desk clerk was lovely and checked to ensure our stay was satisfactory. We often break up our drive to the OBX with an overnight stay in Williamsburg. We will plan to stay at Springhill Suites in Williamsburg again next year. Thank you for such a lovely layover experience on our trip from CLE to the OBX!

We picked this hotel because the ratings for cleanliness were high. It was decently clean however there was no fan in the bathroom which you could tell they have painted over the mold multiple times. There is also no towel hooks near the sink, only on the back of the bathroom door. The shower/toilet is separate from the sink area. I did like that there was a second sitting area with a tv and couch. We left for the day and the cleaning crew never came. Not sure what happened. Mid morning the next day and employee walked in
