Holland Country Cottage is located in the Golden Triangle!

This quaint country cottage is nestled on a beautiful 300 acre farm in Williamstown, KY. The Ark Encounter is less than 10 minutes away, we are 45 minutes from The Creation Museum. The cottage is located in what is referred to as The Golden Triangle since we are right between Lexington and Cincinnati and very close to Louisville. Just minutes of I-75 you have quick access to the interstate in order to travel to other surrounding cities. Downtown Williamstown is growing quickly and there are several antique shops that you can visit during your stay. Lake Williamstown is also just minutes from the cottage where you can enjoy renting a pontoon boat for the day.

We really enjoyed our stay at the cottage. The farm land was beautiful and the cottage was perfect for 2 people. My only recommendation would be a more comfortable sofa and bed. In my opinion, the bed was too firm. After a day of enjoying The Ark Encounter it would be nice to have a more comfortable sofa to relax on. The kitchen and bathroom was very nice. The location to The Ark was very close . Also, it is between Williamstown and Dry Ridge so it was convenient to go into either town.

It is close to the Ark Encounter in fact you can see it from areas of the property. About a 45 min drive to the Creation Museum. Enjoyed the view of the farm. Watching the cattle. Very quiet area

We went to Williamstown to see the Ark Encounter and stayed at this cute little cottage on a farm. It was peaceful and relaxing with everything we needed! We highly recommend this VRBO.

Everything was great! It was beautiful inside and outside. It is in the middle of an active farm, so it smelled like one outside, but it was clean inside and you couldn’t smell the outside. Overall it was quiet. The bed was super comfortable and the water drinkable. We liked sitting outside at night to listen to the nature. The management company was very helpful, as well.

Our visit was during a snowstorm and extreme cold temperatures the roads were clear everywhere. We absolutely enjoyed the view of the snow covered farm.The rental so so cozy when we finished each busy day.The property owners were wonderful to communicate throughout. My husband are I are talking about going back already..From Alabama to Kentucky.

We really enjoyed the cottage. I actually think it was renovated recently. The decor and furnishings were beautiful, updated and cozy. The farm is in a quiet area that feels secluded but it’s within a few miles to 2 towns which makes it very convenient. The drive to the Ark Encounter was 10 minutes and the Creation Museum was about 45 minutes. Cincinnati was 35 minutes. The cottage was very clean and well equipped with everything you need. We would recommend this cottage to anyone who likes some privacy but likes to be close( 10 minutes) to shops and restaurants.

My husband and have VRBO’d every year since 2013 and this property was one of the best stays we’ve had. The cottage was exactly as pictured. Beautifully decorated, very clean and beyond relaxing! Everything we needed was at our disposal making it feel like home away from home.

The pictures are accurate. This property is on a farm with livestock so please be mindful on how this may impact your trip. There are no barriers nor do the equipment, barn, or animals interfere with your stay other than smell if you’re sensitive to it. The cottage is on shared property but privacy did not feel interfered with as there is a distance between the two structures. The cottage was well kept overall. It’s homey while very minimalist and simple. The property manager touch based with us as needed. Some suggestions would be to consider an additional table or surface to rest bathroom items on, we saw small dead insects in the corners / along baseboard but I’ve also considered the location being on a farm having a factor on that, and one draw cord is unreachable on one of the living room fans.The cottage is fairly close to the local town and convenient to The Ark if this is a reason for your trip. The road to the property is also drive-friendly if country roads were a factor. Overall, if you’re seeking a country like place with rolling green hills with quiet, this may be it.

The checkin process was very easy, the kitchen had a full size refrigerator and stove along with microwave. Had a wonderful time as always! It was my second time and my sister's first time. We went to the ark and the aquarium. Took our time through both, lots of pictures. Enjoyed the time at the house watching the raccoons, and cows. Heard a bullfrog in the pond. The farm is absolutely breathtaking. Thank you so much,,,,see you next year!!!!!!
