Frangipani place is situated on the absolute beachfront in Wongaling Beach, just a short drive to shops and restaurants and the Water Taxi to Dunk Island only a twenty minute stroll down the beach. Come and stay at Frangipani Place, perhaps enjoy a family cricket match on the large, grassed area in between the pool and our stunning beaches, then retire for a cool down in Frangipani’s beautiful big pool. You may like to just relax for the afternoon on the sun loungers and watch the boats pass from either the pool deck or your private upstairs balcony. For the chef among us, you will not beat the view over the Coral Sea and beyond to Dunk Island from Frangipani’s very well equipped kitchen with everything you will need to create gourmet meals for the family or a romantic dinner for two. The townhouse has plenty of space for the whole family sleeping up to six guests. The main bedroom has a king bed and an ensuite which offers a choice of a soothing rain shower or you may like to soak in a hot tub. For those that like to laze in bed and watch TV this is also possible. The second bedroom offers 2 singles that can be converted in a king bed. Bedroom 3 has a queen bed. Bedrooms 2 and 3 share the main bathroom. For those warmer tropical nights Frangipani Place if fully air conditioned. The kids will love Frangipani Place, beachfrontage with a great pool and just minutes walk to Rotary Park which has 'Splash'N'Dunk' water play, skate park, playground and basketball half court. The small shopping village at Wongaling Beach (easy to identify thanks to the Big Cassowary sculpture) has a gym, cafe and hair salon. There is a drive in bottle shop at Mission Beach Resort. Adjacent to this complex is Woolworths which has the Bendigo Bank a smaller Bottle shop, pharmacy and cafe. The supermarket is closed on Sundays. You can also find the service station – open 7 days - at Woolworths complex. ANZ and Westpac ATM’s are situated within Woolworths. Dining out in Wongaling Beach – Mission Beach Resort offers bistro style dining, Spicy Thai Hut offers fab Thai food and there is the Italian, Cafe Rustica. Once your booking is confirmed we shall send an email to your private email address giving you directions and access information for the property. You will go directly to the property. There is a key safe located there for you to gain access. We shall give the key safe location and access code. Specific location Address privacy for cancellations off Wongaling Beach is considered by locals to be the central hub of the Mission Beach area. It offers a large range of the exclusive and sought after absolute beachfront accommodation on Reid Road and Koda Street. Beachfront properties are also available on Banfield Parade being across the road from the beach. The small shopping village at Wongaling Beach (easy to identify thanks to the Big Cassowary sculpture) has a few speciality shops. There is a drive in bottle shops at Mission Beach Resort. Adjacent to this complex is Woolworths which also has the Bendigo Bank, ECU a smaller Bottle shop. The supermarket is closed on Sundays. There is a chemist and medical center. You can also find the service station – open 7 days - at Woolworths complex. ANZ and Westpac ATM’s are situated within Woolworths. The Mission Beach Dunk Island Water Taxi departs from the beach on Banfield Parade. The trip to Dunk Island takes approximately 10 mins. There are numerous departures throughout the day. It is recommended to have a car when staying at Wongaling Beach. Another option available is hiring a push bike. This is a great way to get out and about Mission Beach. Riding along the beach is a real treat.
