Disappointed

Hotel was under renovations; which is good and bad. Good, because the hotel was definitely dated. Bad, because it would have been nice to know before booking. Certain exterior doors unavailable for use. Front desk associate was super friendly. The bed sheets were stained and the mattress had burn holes and looked like they were 20 yrs old due to yellowed stains.

We were unaware that the property was under renovation. If we had known,we probably would have booked somewhere else. After driving for eight hours, we looked forward to relaxing in our hotel room for the evening. Unfortunately, we couldn't because there was NO CHAIR to sit in. The desk chair was certainly NOT relaxing nor comfortable. This was very difficult as my husband is recovering from back surgery. Reclining in a bed or sitting upright in a desk chair was not conducive to this. Super disappointing. We were about to take a chair from the lobby for him. Also we were walked in on by housekeeping because there were no DO NOT DISTURB signs available. In addition, the doors to the rooms are SO HEAVY that every single time people left around us, the doors slammed. This is not a good thing as it's very loud and disturbed our downtime. Breakfast was okay but a larger variety would be appreciated.

They are under construction. It did not state that when we booked the room. We were told upon arrival (no refund at that point) We stayed on a Friday night and Saturday at 7am they were Working on the room below us. Many people were upset. Thin walls. Wood floors. Super loud flushing toilets that you could hear floor to floor. Would not suggest this hotel.

The property is extremely old and everything felt old and unsanitary. The place is being renovated and we heard lots of people complain their rooms were not clean. When u book a hotel you should be told that the property is under construction!

Before I start: the place was clean, and had open spaces late at night. So this isn't bad. That said, it's not good either. The decor and facilities are outdated, if functional. The Wi-Fi password was not good, a disappointing use of a captive portal. The room wasn't well-soundproofed, so I heard every guest on my floor leave. The hotel numbers were laminated paper cutouts. Overall, I can see why the nearby hotels were full, and this wasn't. Renovations are clearly improving things: with luck things will be looking up the next time I visit.

Great place to stop for the night!

In the process of a remodel, hotel was clean and comfortable and the staff were very friendly!! Pet friendly as we were traveling with a very unhappy cat.

Pool was totally out of service (Maybe being refurbished/reconstruction). Looked like it had been this was for a Long Time (AS Months. I worked over 45 years in Construction and I know signs of Staging, Work and NO Work), The Lady at the Front Desk said she did NOT know whether or not the Pool was Open. (It took me about 1-1/2 Minutes, including the walk) to find out it was not in service. She either fabricated, was not informed by someone that knew (Manager, at least), or looked for herself. The ELEVATOR did NOT Work.!!!! There was NO Morning Breakfast, AS ADVERTISED, other than (2) groups of Bananas still in the Grocery Boxes and some Mini Muffins still in Manufacturers Wrapper. (Mine was stale.). ADDITIONALLY, The Motels Road Sign was still claiming to Provide a Morning Breakfast.

Warning! Under Renovation!

Horrible stay. I am actually going to request a rate adjustment. The hotel is undergoing a major renovation and the place was a work zone. Which is fine if that was mentioned on their website when I made a nonrefundable reservation. But it was not. The top two floors were closed off. The room we got was sub par. Dirty, noisy, and uncomfortable. Ratty bedspread and pillows. Couldn’t see out the window, mold on the windowsill, TV cable running thru the wall and along the wall. There were no amenities, no breakfast (except a coffee pot on a small table next to the front desk with some Muffins) and the doors weren’t working when we went to check out. They had turned them off so they could work in that area. Again…that would all be ok if I knew all that going in and wasn’t charged full price for a room. I am willing to pay for a roof over my head but not $145 for a stay worth about $50.00
