This property was in an excellent location within walking distance to everything. We stayed here while bringing my nephew to school here and we were able to walk everywhere. The flat was clean and nicely decorated. The major issue we had was the non working clothes dryer, but it is going to be repaired. Another problem we had (which might just have been us) was the light from the building next door - it shone into both the bedroom and living room window all night. Black out drapes would help. The circular stairs to the bedroom are not for everyone, but we did not have any issues with them.

Not as advertised, very annoyed.
No parking onsite even though it was advertised and there was a spiral staircase which wasn't mentioned. Very difficult for those with limited mobility or small children, made for a very stressful visit.
Really enjoyed our 3 nights here, Dave made us feel really welcome, Would stay again.
The apartment has everything you need for a trouble free weekend, great for familys
We had to wait 15-20 mins outside the apartments to be let in. We arrived at 1510 after indicating a 1500 arrival although we did state that we were arriving by train scheduled to arrive at York at 1439. The train was a few minutes late, it rained en route and the walk was more difficult that expected - lots of people and cobblestones. When the landlord did turn up, he said he had waited 10 minutes, so we must have just missed him. However there was no prior indication that he would leave if we were late. Had we known, we would have phoned to let him know; even better, he could have phoned us to check. Having paid for 4 days in advance, we deserved better than the service offered and that was a bad start to our stay. The double bed was smaller than the usual queen. There were a few minor issues which the landlord promptly attended to.
