Our host was extremely helpful, courteous and an absolute pleasure. The room was clean, comfortable with everything we needed and breakfast was plentiful and tasty. The location was great - close to the city centre and the Barbican, which is why we chose it. We would definitely stay there again if we were overnighting in York.

The host was very kind and helpful. The Barbican is located just outside the wall, which is brilliant, as inside the walls is quite noisy until very late. We would definitely stay here again!

Amazing place

Barbican House was amazing, the owners were very friendly and very helpful. The breakfast was beautiful so much that we ordered it for our second morning as well. The room was a lovely size and beds were very comfy.

The guest house is perfect location for York centre and the host was very friendly and helpful room was spacious and had very good choice of facilities compared to hotels where limited choice if tea and coffee in room and also bathroom even had ear buds for example we would definitely stay here again if visiting York

What a wonderful guest house. Our beautiful room overlooked the city walls and gate. We had great beds and were within a short walk to the city center. Durga, the owner, ensured we had all that we needed, including a place to park. We would happily stay here again.
