the hotel was extremely well located for the park and ride into York. Though on an A road didn't hear the traffic, however sometimes difficult to turn right out of the property. Breakfast was excellent. The area we stayed in needed updating and the room was quite warm even with the fan going. A lift where we were would be helpful, though there was one on the other side. If ever up in York again, we would definitely come again.

We had an enjoyable stay and found all staff extremely efficient and helpful. The shower in our room was not working the first night but this was quickly remedied the next day. Unfortunately the lift was not working the 2 nights we were there. The hotel rooms are a bit dated but the communal areas are delightful and have plenty of seating

Hotel is so nice, very luxurious, new interior design is just fab. Rooms are massive, comfortable and hotel does own a spacious parking lot. There is a bus station close by so you can leave your car and get to town by bus.

There was a wedding at the venue and although we couldn't hear the music from the disco the persistent thump from the bass was not good, as it was apparent all evening until midnight. Even with the tv on it could be heard vibrating through the room
