The check in was pretty quick. The overall cleanliness was pretty good as well. The room was a little dusty and the bathroom, specifically the shower did not look clean.

Room was nice, spacious, clean and comfortable. Walking distance to dining and fuel (I wouldn’t suggest it because, Route 30. Hotel is located centrally. We came up from Virginia for my grandfathers funeral, staying here made the trip relaxed for sure. Front desk staff are attentive and ready to help if you need something. I’d definitely stay here again

Hotel was clean and in a great location for easy highway access. Plwnty of options for food and shopping in the area. Our room was spacious and the bathroom was beautiful. We thought we would be able to hear people in the hallway due to the proximity from the elevator, but it was quiet as a mouse for our entire stay. I would absolutely stay here again.

Great stay!

Stayed 2 nights with my son for a basketball tournament at Spooky Nook. This has been our go to hotel for several years- I think we have stayed 5 times. Great for what our need was. Clean, good breakfast, near a good diner.

The stay was relaxing and quiet. There were convenient food and shoppimg options available. The beds were comfortable and the shower was great. I would definitely visit again. My only suggestion would be larger pillows and another elevator when upgrading. The wait for the elevator was a few minutes.

The fitted sheet on the bed had not been changed in a very long time. Makes me wonder about the other bedding too. There was no shampoo or body wash in the room, only conditioner and lotion. The room was dusty.

Clean. Very quiet. Breakfast was good. Need a mat in the tub/shower — extremely slippery. Appreciated the night light in the bathroom!! (No one wants to turn on a bright blinding light at 3am to go to the bathroom!!). Victoria at the front desk was very friendly, capable, efficient. Room rate was reasonable.

Mildew smell and spiders

Nobody was at the desk when we arrived at 10pm for check in, just several keys sitting out with guest names and room numbers. We got ours and went to the room only to find we were given a room that smelled very strongly of mildew and with 2 double beds instead of 2 queen like we had booked. I walked back to the desk and eventually someone came back. He said that the beds were queen size - I sleep on a queen-size at home, they definitely weren’t. About the mildew smell, he said the hotel was booked so he could only offer some air freshener. We declined and were going to deal with the smell, but after getting back to the room we killed two spiders. The man at the desk offered half off our reservation, but we just couldn’t sleep with the idea of more spiders so we had to find another hotel at 10:30 pm. Hopefully it was just a fluke of issues with that room, but we just couldn’t stay there.
