Wonderful theme of Churchill reflected all around, even in the bar. Great location. Room good enough but bathroom was not great - tiny corner unit, toilet weak to flush, shower not staying in place etc. Having said that, it's an old heritage hotel so something to accept. Great bar food and nice they supply playing cards for some fun. Overall quite good stay

Beautiful building, some beautiful original features, ‘modern’ decor lets it down (my opinion), room was large, bed was comfortable, had all needed items tv, kettle , iron , and welcome items etc… tired carpet though , tired furniture, shower functionality awful, also car parking charged @ £18 per day, I was never informed of any charges was just taken off my card without my knowledge . The staff at the Churchill were amazingly helpful and the hotel itself is beautiful, just a short walk from the centre. The main problem we had was with the room, it was very dusty and the bathroom had several issues, such as the flooring
