Family trip

An unbeatable view with Matterhorn day and night. Very spacious and comfort room. Nice staff. Location is a bit far from train station but it is acceptable as just walk along the Main Street of Zermatt for shopping.

What a pleasant surprise for us! This Hotel was perfect, offered half board which included breakfast & dinner, food was exceptional! The staff so friendly we felt like part of their family. Easy bus location to get to all the major ski areas and downtown Zermatt was an easy walk. Our room was perfect for 3 people we would book this again!

Jaegerhof is a fantastic little hotel with friendly staff.The room was very clean and spacious with a very comfortable bed and a nice duvet. The complementary breakfast was simply amazing (loved the Bircher muesli) and the shuttle to and from the train station was much appreciated. If you are planning a stay in Zermatt give this wonderful family hotel a try.

Great!!

We really liked this hotel. It was very convenient for getting to the town ski shuttle, and it was also easy to walk to the main places in town. The staff was extremely friendly, and tried to be helpful in any possible way they could. Several times I asked questions of the staff at the front desk, and they'd go out of their way to find the answers. We plan to stay here again.

This small family-style hotel feels UNIQUE and well-organized. Everybody LOVES breakfast, which is served from 7:30 in the morning. Modern coffee machines can make you 8 different types of coffee and even recognize different cup sizes. It's very convenient before starting Ski day! The staff is very friendly and we enjoy our stay. The only one small thing a hotel can improve is to provide SOFTER towels :)

A well run family hotel. You can tell that the family owner really cares about his guests and staff. They were very attentive and accommodated all our needs. Meals were wonderful and it is in a great location in Zermatt. Definitely plan to return.

Excellent staff and facilities. Rooms are basic but have great views and are very clean. Ski room was a plus, along with good breakfast and friendly staff. All ski lifts were walkable as well.

Jagerhof

It was a very comfortable hotel - we thought they could have made the hot water, hot coffee, hot tea, hot chocolate available 24/7 as a few other hotels we've stayed at had done. Personnel was most helpful. Rooms were very clean and well-kept. Location worked out very well for us. There were some concerns in our group about what constituted a "room with a view" of the Matterhorn.....? of the city? of the neighborhood? That could be clarified in the hotel site. Breakfast included was fabulous! Great way to start the day!
