We enjoyed our stay at Mercure Hotel Aachen. The room was clean and staff quickly responded to our request for extra pillows (we originally only had one each). All of the staff were friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was good. Not much noise outside considering how busy the Christmas markets were, so we slept comfortably.

Clean, modern room, but very little amenities: no fridge, no coffee machine or water heater, actually no coffee or water at all in the room, a tiny TV. This is ok if all you do is sleep in the room. But for the same money, you get better value elsewhere.
