Hotel looks tired and run down. There was clearly no heating on throughout the building with rooms having plug in electrical heaters. We had to reject our first room because the window was not sealed properly and a breeze was blowing through the gaps in the frame. Reception did move us rooms quickly to a room with a sealed window. Overall the cost was nice and cheap but even at the rate paid we did feel the building was showing signs of being a little run down.

Unfortunate that our room had been previously occupied by a heavy smoker. Windows are sealed and air con doesn’t work, so air cannot move. Otherwise it would have been a nice stay. Clean bathroom, big smart tv. Clean bedding.

The hotel room was nice but the lobby smelt of pot and we were accosted by hotel guest for cigarettes as they use the hotel as a down and outs that the council put in till they get housed so stay away from there

Great price if you just need a room for the night. As a student at the nearby University its perfect for me and better than renting the student accommodation in the area. Clean room, own bathroom and tea making facilities. All I need for staying occasionally overnight. I can confirm as other reviews have mentioned, there is an odour of weed in the lift, but the room is fresh. Can't really complain for the price you pay.

Fantastic Value

For the price we paid it was excellent value, we just needed a bed for the night so didnt explore the hotel. Bedroom basic, but bed was comfy & room clean. Would definitely recommend & stay again if up in Aberdeen
