Cheap and dirty.

Rooms are in a terrible need of a complete refurbishment. Walls and radiators scuffed and dirty. Carpets threadbare and lino torn and stained. The car park is NOT free!

Automated check in needs a little work. Cheap and good location. Room doors have codes rather than keys so they are heavy and make noise when opened, but apart from that peaceful stay Room small side, but still had wardrobe, bath, all facilities needed. TV had Netflix which wasnt expecting.

Okay for the price

Basic room at a reasonable price for the quality of accommodation. The rooms are showing there age. Badly scraped walls, damaged paintwork, frayed carpets etc, but good clean linen on bed. Bathroom of a reasonable standard. Hot towel rail and large fluffy white towels. Located centrally for the city centre.

Kudos to the staff who helped us with the last minute request and the assistance on the issue with boiler. Overall a good budget friendly option and scope for improvisation.

Checking in was ok but things went downhill from there. The room was fine but unfortunately there was a rave in the one next door. I had two people trying to get in my room instead of the one next door. The toilet in my room had also not been flushed. I went to reception to get a room change and the receptionist was very helpful and got me a new room which was quieter. It wasn't very clean though. One of the drawers was full of crumbs. On the second day i was unable to get in my room. I went to reception and waited 10 minutes for someone to appear. They sorted it out quickly. Overall it was not great and i wouldn't return.

Room was basic, decor could do with update. Peeling wallpaper. Ok for price. There were no bath towels provided. No reception in our building, other guests tried to access our room whilst we were in there.
