Excellent base for an overnight stay as directly opposite the train station and Union Square shopping centre for food and shops. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly and the hotel was spotless. Our room (230) was huge and very clean. Bathroom was nice and modern. Furniture was a bit of a,mismatch but perfectly functional. Only downside was the roasting hot radiator that wouldn't turn down. Would definitely recommend and will stay here again.

The room was very neglected. Bed was fine, but one or two issues I’d overlook.. there were many more. Shower door didn’t close properly, plug missing from the bathroom sink, no shower gel and hand soap was nearly empty, tile grout had seen better days. The bathroom tap was hard to get the water to actually stop flowing, and doing so meant that it was hard to get the water in the cold tap to actually come out. There was a pipe above the window that had obviously leaked and not had a proper repair to the ceiling. The furniture in the bedroom was falling apart, the unit at the side of the bed was loose and the drawer was drifting open under its own steam. The unit with tea and coffee needed the doors tightened up as they were sagging at an angle. A twin socket was lying loose in the bottom of the unit (pretty sure it’s not up to standard). The laminate on the units was lifting due to previous moisture ingress. The hotel was ideally situated and a room that resembled what was on the website and not a broom cupboard would have made the stay much better. Room 409, best avoided… if you get it, ask for an upgrade and save yourself the time going up and having to come back to reception.

1st time in Aberdeen and picked the perfect hotel ..staff were amazing so helpful and courteous especially NAZARII who checked us in and upgraded our room ..breakfast was lovely and fresh continental and hot cooked breakfast too ..so central for everything shopping etc will definitely come back

When I look at a place to stay, three things are important: safety, cleanliness, and value. More on this later. I have to say that our room was nothing like the photos. We were in a run-down room on the second floor that was on an slant. The furnishings were well worn and the bathroom was tiny. The lift was out of order, and there was no heat in the room. It is obvious that the pictures were of updated rooms that we were not provided. It felt more like a hostel then a hotel. We couldn't stop laughing at all the absurdities. However, it was safe and clean...can't say it was worth the price
