It’s in a perfect location! From the train from the ferry and from downtown. It an old hotel with all the amenities. Comfortable bed large room and big bathroom. There is a nice little pub and restaurant here too. I’d stay again.

Despite 2 calls to the hotel notifying a very late arrival no entry gained at 3am. Phoned the hotel for 10 minutes whilst ringing the door bell and no response. Left a voicemail. Eventually contacted by phone after returning to my car, 20 minutes away, to tell me that there would be someone to let me in. Once I checked in I asked for a wake up call at 7.45am but did not get it because there was no phone in the room. I was offered a complimentary breakfast because of no admission but it was inedible and caused me to be very sick later. Would never stay or recommend this hotel.

Reasonably priced, staff very helpful - I was upgraded to a much better room because my TV did not work - food very good, adjacent to both railway and bus stations and modern shopping centre.

Big bathroom window normal glass, not Frosted, cheap roller blind up thats seen better days as you an see in still if at the toilet, curtains in bedroom dont cover window had to hold them closed with tv an pushed behind the radiator, not a good weekend away at all, an after 1130pm the bell on front door was rang to let us in over 8 times no answer even called number on note on door twice no answer, would not recommend this place if your out an coming back late

The hotel was immaculately clean. The bedrooms were very spacious & really nice. We slept in superior double room. The breakfast was amazing & lots of different things to choose from. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

Centrally located in Aberdeen with convenient access to shopping center. The room was not very nice with gloomy lighting, no easy access to light switches from the bed and stained carpets.

Turned out great

Initial room was tired but still thought value for money as per location. No hairdryer then TV not working so very efficiently staff transferred us to another room (assume this was “superior” room for hotel which I’d class as a good 4⭐️ establishment which I’d expect to pay double to what I was charged (£54) Bargain so delighted with stay.

Nice to see an older hotel being given a bit of a face lift. Upgraded to executive room which was huge. Bed was a bit too firm for both of us but slept well otherwise. Room design flawed by aesthetics over practicality when it comes to mirrors at the desk which you can’t sit in front of as the mirror is off set and plug a fair distance from the bigger mirror so a bit of a faff.

Many updates were obvious . Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Room was almost perfect and could be made perfect with a smaller wardrobe to avoid squeezing between bed and wardrobe. Hope to stay again.
