Absolitely perfect. Cannot be faulted in any way. We were only scheduled to be there for a couple of nights and ended up extending our stay as the place is so good.

Rotana beach hotel

Rotana made our stay in Abu Dhabi most pleasurable, the staff went out of their way to Make us feel welcome daily, the hotel foyer beach and external areas were always well staffed and well kept with live music and open air movie theatre, they also have restaurants on site from tepenyaki, German, Italian, Indian and are a good standard. Rooms are clean and comfortable with 24hr room service for a time that is convenient to suit you. We have a young child so the cot was important, upon arrival the cot was spotless and was also wooden model which was expectional in comparison to other hotels we visited and refused to use due to the condition. The sandy beach was small but clean with crystal clear water ideal for children, they have 2 pools an adult and a child both heated. The biggest surprise for us was that the hotel interconnects to Abu Dhabi shopping mall and houses a super market, food court as well as night street chains. we left loving Abu Dhabi with the intention to return.

Convenient location

My experience at this hotel started very well with email communication with customer service, Camille was very kind in arranging early check in after a very long journey and she also arranged a nice cake for my husband's birthday a really nice touch! The rest of the stay was a bit average nothing particularly wrong, just we did not feel special, something I have experienced in all other hotels I have visited in the UAE. The hotel is centrally located with easy access to Abu Dhabi mall. The pool is functional but the design uninspiring, the beach is fairly small and as other have said it looks more like a canal than the sea. There is construction work all around, but this is standard in UAE and did not bother us during the day or at night. The standard room is fine with all you would expect: coffee facilities, hair drier, safe, etc. house keeping however was a bit patchy in the delivery of service, we had to call almost daily to have the coffee replenished, our room was not cleaned on our second day even though we had been out all day. The service by the pool was very good on both food and drink delivery and the sun lounger provision. All in all it is not bad, there are several restaurants providing plenty of choice with good quality and service. I will write a separate review for the Japanese restaurant and for the Zen Spa, which I highly recommend. The hotel does not run any free shuttle, but taxis in the UAE are very safe and extremely cheap so you can reach any point of interest in comfort.

Okay-but not wow!

Hotel was lovely, but room was a bit cramped. Totally object to having to pay £20 just for wifi, when other hotels in the area include it for free. Not sure I would go back, as far more luxurious hotels in close proximity that offer much more, for same price! Sorry!

Short break for 2 people

Good food with Excellent service and the staff couldn't have been more friendly or helpful. The use of the private lounge Club Rotana made our stay really special. We have already recommended this hotel to our family and friends.

Good for a few days getaway

Beautiful hotel with a nice calm ambience. Restaurants and food very good. Pool area is also nice. Proximity and access to shopping centre is a real advantage.However, much more suited to business traveller than average holiday maker.
