I have stayed at Embassy Gardens several times in the past and have always appreciated certain aspects of the property. The location is excellent, the grounds are well-maintained with three pools, the restaurant serves good food, and the gym is convenient. These amenities have made previous stays enjoyable. Unfortunately, my most recent experience was deeply disappointing. Due to an accidental cancellation, I was charged the full amount of my stay. When I arrived, I asked if my booking could be reinstated or if I could receive a refund to rebook, but the staff were unwilling to offer any flexibility. As a loyal customer who genuinely wanted to honour my stay, losing the entire amount felt unfair and left me with no choice but to reconsider future visits. While I acknowledge that the cancellation was my mistake, I believe that a certain level of understanding and accommodation should be extended to returning guests. The lack of flexibility has overshadowed the positives, and I cannot in good conscience recommend Accra Luxury Apartments at this time. If you are considering staying in this complex, I would suggest exploring one of the other providers who manage apartments here.

The staff was courteous, the amenities were good. The place was very clean as well. The bedsheets however were threaded, which makes for an uncomfortable experience. One expects that when one is paying a whole lot of money, there is some tea / coffee which is made available. Do not choose the breakfast option because choices are limited and the breakfast is not that great in terms of taste. The advantage however is that the breakfast is delivered to your room which is quite perfect. The staff was nice enough to extend my checkout by one hour. The apartment in which I was staying in had a balcony which I paid extra for but very small balcony. Also, Accra is too hot- so balcony is not really a nice addition anyway. Do not pay extra for this. The location is closeby to a lot of places so that is an advantage- everything is at a 15 minute drive given the Accra traffic, which is quite great. The apartment is however NOT sound proof. I could hear if people were talking outside in the hallway or if they were coming out. For someone who has noise issues, this was terrible especially when I was writing or sleeping. In addition, there was drilling work happening through 11 am to 2 pm. I complained about it and while they apologized, it did not stop until I presume the work was finished. I realise that these things happen but it was a bummer especially because I was there for a staycation, and I needed to catch up on my sleep, rest and recuperate.

Room was clean and very basic. Checking in was a strange experience (made to wait until someone comes to pick you up). This certainly feels, as the name Luxury Apartments implies, like an apartment complex for expats that has been converted into hotel rooms as needed.

This was a g great alternative to staying at a hotel! The bedroom area was upstairs, which kind of surprised me. The downstairs area was the living space with the kitchen and all the appliances. The pools were beautiful, and the grounds were kept up very well. The Elm Cafe (restaurant onsite) was great and had fantastic service. Housekeeping would come every day if you wanted them to. Staff was very accommodating!

We stayed for two weeks at the Luxury Apartments. Our initial one‑bedroom ground‑floor unit had a few issues, including a noise nuisance. We raised this with Medrick, who promptly moved us to a duplex with a pool view—a huge improvement. The complex is modern and well kept, and Medrick’s service was excellent. Notes for future guests: if breakfast shows as included, it doesn’t automatically cover the on‑site restaurant; there’s a 150 GHS per‑person allowance and anything above that is payable. Towels are limited to one per person with no extra hand or pool towels. Minor quibbles overall—we’d happily return.

The apartment was impressively clean, spacious, and well-maintained—perfect for relaxing after a day out. The staff were consistently polite and friendly, creating a welcoming atmosphere throughout my visit. I especially appreciated the beautifully kept garden and pool area, both clean and tidy, offering a peaceful retreat right on the property. A special thank-you to Betty for her kind support during our stay—she went above and beyond to help us sign up for the Uber app and locate great restaurants and places of interest. Her thoughtful assistance made exploring Accra so much easier and more enjoyable.

We stayed for 3 nights and had a wonderful experience. The place was spotless and well-equipped with everything we needed - a microwave, stove and even a washer/dryer, which made our stay extra convenient. Check-in was quick and easy and the staff were all friendly. A special shout out to Betty, who went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable-she was absolutely the best !!!. Overall, our stay was excellent, and we would definitely come back again. Highly Recommend!

The room was spotless, the service was amazing. They helped us with every step of checking in. The Wi-Fi was great . The balcony was great. Betty created a great atmosphere from dealing with making sure we had breakfast to helping us exchange money . Betty was helpful in also helping us find another room so that we can extend our stay . There was some issues with the room. The wire cover for the tv was coming off the wall. The bathroom drawer was visibly broken. The sink cabinet was coming off the wall. There is only 2 small toiletries shower gel and shampoo. They does not have wash cloth. I had to use a dry towel to wash up with. The apartment was spot painted, you can visibly see were they painted different areas of the apartment. The glass table that was in the apartment was dirty. Richard took me to my room, whom seen the issues but didn't try to fix them. I was not even offended another room nor was i upgraded due to me being VIP. Linda staff was a good host. She reached out every day to make sure things was ok and what i wanted for breakfast. I needed an adapter to plug up my phone, Richard stated there was none due to guess having them. He didnt even try to address that issue nor did he address the things of the room. Linda reached out and was able to find an adapter for me to use. I address the room condition to Linda and no one suggest to even try to move me to another room. Also, the property was advertised differently from what it actually is. The view from the apartment was the back of a building. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
