Overall very good. Was the last leg of 6 week tour of Australia. Have stayed in 8 other hotels on tour. HGC was the only one to provide a washing maiden. Big downside for us was no washing facilities actually on site. Having to go to a different hotel to find the only washing machine was already in use was a complete pain. I cannot believe we are the only people who stay at HGC and are “on tour”. Misleading to say washing facilities available in my view. I am sure HGC could find space for a couple of washers and dryers somewhere on site. For us it was a big enough issue that if not resolved would mean that we would not stay there when we return to Adelaide.

in room 615 the fridge motor kicks in every 15mins without fail. it is exceptionally loud. I would recommend looking at some 'double glazing' to the windows to reduce the noise. there are ones that can be attached to existing windows. I could hear full conversations from the pavment and the bass from a nightclub until 5am. I think if I was able to get to sleep from the get go, I would have been less sensitive to the street noise, but those pillows are worse than what you get at a holiday motel in a regional area.
