We have stayed here a number of times and always enjoyed the experience, however on this occasion it is feeling a little tired, with corners seem to being cut. Including, no soap for the bath, only pump pack at sink. Housekeeping indicated they were no longer providing soap. The hot water was lukewarm for bath/shower. I wondered if this was a cost cutting measure as well adjusting water heating costs.

We enjoyed our 2 days here as it was a convenient location for a Wedding we attended & decided to have an extra night stay. The room was nice, neat, quiet & a perfect location for us to walk wherever we needed to go. The staff were very friendly, helpful & all round was a great place to stay. Great property!! The room was spotless and well maintained, professional staff and a mini bar showcasing SA products. There is a restaurant onsite, but it's not open everyday. Luckily there are many great options within a 3 min walk.

Room wasn’t very convenient no easily accessible power points. Had to boil kettle in bathroom and other than filling the kettle in from the bath you needed to use a cup to put water in it. Even on the 6th floor the view was a car park. Bar fridge was old and the ice box was dropping water into a tray on the shelf below.

When we arrived at the hotel there was a maintenance man fixing the door near the front, we had to wait till he finished to enter the room. Other than that the service and quality of everything was average. Didnt get to check out the roof garden because everytime we went to check it was locked
