Plakias Sunset Villas a two-storey house and its interior occupies a space of 200 m2. It accommodates up to 9 guests and is ideal for families and groups of friends who seek relaxation and memorable family moments. Villa features four lovely bedrooms (two double, and two with twin beds), one of which is on the ground floor and the other three on the first floor. Also, all bedrooms are sunny and airy. All bedrooms on the first floor have balconies with breathtaking sea views. In addition, there is a relaxing sitting area (veranda) on this floor where you can enjoy the beautiful sunset of Plakias.
On the ground floor, is the fully equipped kitchen & the dining area with direct access to the pool where a beautiful garden with children’s playground, barbeque, and table tennis are. A comfortable living room with a fireplace is located on this floor as well. The villa provides also 3 bathrooms (one with a Jacuzzi).
The design on both floors creates a cozy atmosphere and a modern environment.
In most areas, you can enjoy the fantastic unobstructed view of the area and the sea!
The outdoor space of Villa Plakias Sunset provides everything you need for a memorable family holiday, including a 30 m2 private swimming pool, equipped with sun beds, and umbrellas, where you’ll love spending your time, just enjoying the sun and the summer breeze!
Furthermore, there is an outdoor sitting area, where you can treat yourself to a nice glass of wine or just prepare a homemade meal in the BBQ facilities for the whole family are also available while your kids play right next to you, at the children’s playground.

-Pool heating is available for an extra charge of €40 per day, not included in the accommodation price, and must be requested at least 2 days in advance.

Plakias Sunset villa is located at Mariou Village, in Finikas in Rethymno.
Mariou is a traditional, quiet village with the famous village of Plakias at just 5 minutes distance by car.
At the village there is a very nice tavern, called TavernaMariou and a few local traditional cafe’s (Kafeneio).
Next to the village there one more beautiful village,Myrthios, while in the famous beach of Plakias you can find bakery shops, mini markets, tavernas and many different shops.
Mariou village it’s a very nice location to explore all the nearby beaches, like, Damnoni, Sougia, Sxoinaria at a small distance of 15 min. driving.
The altitude of the village is also ideal for breathtaking sunsets.
Lastly, you should know that you are only 35 km away from Rethymno city centre, if you want to make a tour in the picturesque old town and do some shopping during your holidays!

A car is recommended for your transportation. We can organize a transfer in order to come to the villa and the day after rental cars can be delivered at the property (extra charge).

Sustainability

-The villa uses solar systems in order to heat the water
-Most of the light bulbs are replaced with LED lumps
-The villa only uses water-efficient toilets e.g. low-flow toilets, dual flush toilets
-All windows are double-glazed
-Offer tours and activities organized by local guides and businesses

This is a house and not a hotel, so please treat the property with respect as if it was your own :)
1. You can arrive at your accommodation after 15:00 on the Arrival Date of your holiday and you must leave by 11:00 on the Departure Date. But in any case if you wish to arrive earlier or depart later than the mentioned hours feel free to contact us and we will fulfill your request if the villa is available with no extra cost. If your arrival will be delayed, you must contact us so that alternative arrangements can be made. If you fail to do so you may not be able to gain access to the Property. If you fail to arrive by midday on the day after the Arrival Date and you have not contacted us, we may treat the booking as having been cancelled by you.

2. People other than those in the Guest party set forth above may not enter the property or stay overnight in the property. Any kind of Party for more than the people staying in the property must be informed prior booking the villa, which in some cases it might not be accepted and if accepted extra charge might apply. In case you do so, we can refuse to hand over the Property to you, or can require you to leave. We will treat any of these circumstances as a cancelation of the booking by you and we shall be under no obligation to refund you for any fees already paid to us
in those circumstances. Any refund will be at our sole discretion

3. Every effort has been made to ensure that you have an enjoyable and memorable holiday. If however, you have any cause for complaint it is important that action is taken as soon as possible. It is essential that you contact us if any problem arises so that it can be speedily resolved. It is often extremely difficult (and sometimes impossible) for us to resolve difficulties properly unless we are promptly notified. In particular, complaints of a transient nature(example: electric power issues, warm water is out etc.) cannot possibly be investigated unless you will let us know as soon as possible whilst you are in residence.
Also after staying in the property for 48 hours and we have not received any message or email from you about any broken facilities/amenities in the property, we will hold the guest responsible for any damages caused and must be paid or replaced by the guest on spot.

4. Smoking is Not allowed in the properties so we request all of our guests not to smoke in the properties
but to smoke outside on the exterior areas such us by swimming pools, balconies, verandas, patios or terrace

5. Housekeeping: There is no daily housekeeping service. Cleaning and linnen change is done every 3/4 days.
In case you wish for the villa to be cleaned more often, it’s possible for an extra charge.

6. Hot Tub: No children under the age of 5 permitted in hot tubs at any time without adult supervision. When using the hot tub, remember there is a certain health risk associated with this facility. Use at your own risk. Our housekeepers drain, sanitize, refill and replenish chemicals in all tubs prior to your arrival therefore it may not be warm until later that evening.

7. Pool: The pool is not covered, built to the standards of the Greek Tourism Organization EOT. Parents have full responsibility for supervision of their minor children No children under the age of 12 permitted the pool at any time without adult supervision. When using the pool, remember there is a certain health risk associated with this facility. Use at your own risk. Pool heating is available for an extra charge of €40 per day, not included in the accommodation price, and must be requested at least 2 days in advance. 8. Fireplace: The fireplace is working with wood which will be provided.

9. Tenants agree to respect the property.
