This captivating home is embellished with a 20m2 private swimming pool (1,45 meters deep) and an outdoor shower. Grown-ups can lounge to their sun loungers before idling back for al fresco barbecues (Gas BBQ) under sunset skies, on the shaded outdoor dinning area. An ideal holiday escape for those who seek the ultimate summery living.

Internal Living | Bedrooms & Bathrooms
Cleverly repurposed finds and sumptuous furnishings create a calming sensory design throughout. The villa spreads through two floors, making it an ideal escape for a family or group of friends. Lounge at the impeccable ground floor living room with access to the pool area and watch the sunset lazily before curling up on the sofa with a paperback. Set up a movie marathon at the 40’’ Smart TV on long summer nights, while the bespoke living-cum fully equipped kitchen will await to inspire you for culinary wonders.

The villa features two wonderful bedrooms, one on the first floor with its own bathroom & the second one on the ground floor, allowing plenty of space and comfort for all. It can comfortably accommodate up to four guests in real beds & two more guests can also be accommodated (one on the sofa/couch of the living room and one on a folding bed which can be provided upon request on the first floor bedroom), thus the maximum capacity is six guests.

Location Overview

Paligremnos Residences take prime position in one of Rethymno’s most charming villages, Plakias with azure waters and rugged coastline create an enchanting destination for holidays beside the sea. The unspoilt breathtaking landscape of Plakias make it an ideal holiday destination for guests seeking total relaxation. The gorgeous beaches, stunning mountainous landscape and the inviting waters of the Libyan Sea, are all in all a reason to visit this part of Crete.

Plakias is a popular tourist resort. Originally a very small and quiet fishing village, and it now offers a range of amenities, as well as is renowned for it’s natural beauty, providing all the facilities that a visitor could wish for. Along the main road of the village there are several supermarkets, bakeries, ATM machines, post office, a doctor’s office, restaurants, tavernas, cafes and beach bars while on the beach there are tamarisk trees, water sports, beach volley courts, snack bars and other shops offer a very wide range of products, including local and traditional goods.

The beach is sandy and very well organised with sun beds, umbrellas, changing rooms, showers, etc. The rocks surrounding the beach are ideal for fishing and snorkelling, as well. The road along the beach is also ideal for walking or cycling.

Plakias makes a good starting point for walks along the coast to Souda, or up into the encircling hills to other villages such as Sellia or Mirthios, which boasts spectacular sea views out to sea. A good coastal motor track runs west beyond Plakias, leading to Souda, Rodakino, Frangokastello and Sfakia beaches. There are plenty of walks locally, and bolder walkers will enjoy the high green countryside beyond the coastal mountain range north of town. Mountain biking and cycle touring are other local attractions.
