My second time here, very comfortable for family vacation with VIP access to all restaurants. Got a bit of weed on the beach around Tulum resort. Staff is friendly, good live music and tequila, coffee machines. Clean and maintained properly, nice pools. Management did a good job.

This place has serious mould in rooms, air conditioning was controlled and not adequate on most days. The smell in the rooms was unbearable due to mould. Lamps were damaged and should have been replaced..Buffet was same with little variation each day. Desserts were of little quality..Guacamole was sparse and often not available..You couldnt find a banana on any day.. Found the service rude on more than one occasion.Bar drinks were not made with quality ingredients.Will not be going back to Bahia properties again.Oh ya, this is a big one....its end of April and all the pools close a 6 pm. IM ON VACATION. I WANT TO SWIM UNTIL AT LEAST 9 PM.

Overall Great

Resort overall was a great stay. It was clean and functional. My toilet was broken when I arrived to my room and they promptly came and fixed it. The food at the buffet was very good, they had a variety of option, one which was authentic Mexican which I appreciated! The bed mattress was very firm and hard to get comfortable the first couple nights. The service was not great. I am used to employees greeting everyone with a smile and trying to be accommodating. No one was rude but also not very approachable or friendly. There were a couple bar tenders who smiled and engaged.

It had a kids sention for the kids kept them busy all the time. The beach could have been cleaned more frequently from seaweed.. the buffet was amazing as well as the staff.. will come back in the near future

I loved this place, I was upgraded for been an expedia member, I received access to all four hotels in Bahia Principe, my only complaint was that because Coba us a familiar resort, they gave me a room on the first floor and my neighbors on the second floors had childrens so It was noises since 5 am until 1 am.

We noticed the following changes compared to our trip last year: Staff seemed angry, unhappy, or uncaring, cutbacks, and big policy changes. A lot of broken pavers, tiles in and around pools, and broken items in rooms. Food quality was terrible. Not as much fun. Smoking policies are not enforced enough. The free entertainment was not as good, and the bigger shows did not change from last year. all the added extra costs when it is supposed to be "all-inclusive". upgrade bracelet price increased, and fewer options were provided with the upgrade. LASTLY, everything is priced in USD when the PESO is your country's currency.

Staff was very helpful and all very nice. The restaurants had no available reservations available which we were upset about. You are able to book restaurants up to 10 days prior to arriving but for those who arent aware are left with eating at the buffets. Buffets were horrible and the snack bar was even worse. All around resort has open utitilty holes. I fell into a huge open hole in front of casino and hotel itself would not supply any sort of compensation. Made it hard to get around resort with a sore foot. Overall would not stay again. The other resorts on the property are beautiful.
