On check in we were left waiting at reception for 15 minutes which in itself is no issue - but when a staff member did eventually arrive, he was rude and completely unwelcoming. The room was okay and breakfast a bonus to be included. However again - no interaction from staff at all. Overall extremely disappointing. A quick 'Good evening' or 'Good morning' would go along way.

Excellent value for money, breakfast was included, juice, big variety of fresh fruit, mini muffins, tea, coffee, cereal, toast, jam yum. Bed was super comfy. Heating great!!!

A good price and a good location. Just needs a but of updating to the room. Paint peeling off (resurfaced) tiles in the bathroom, plus water damage to the ceiling. Slightly weird mattress (was the Queen bed 2 singles), where one was firm and the other far too soft, and I kept rolling down on to the soft side. Continental breakfast is... OK. Nice that it's offered, but some yoghurt and dried fruit would be a nice addition, plus more than just 1 flavour of juice.

I had specifically asked for a downstairs room as I am still recovering from a hip replacement. I was told that I had asked for an upstairs room which was not the case as I can't carry things upstairs. I was eventually given a downstairs room out the back.

A Bit Disappointed

We stay at this motel often. This trip (which I booked a month before) I requested a courtyard room and usually I receive a reply from the Boomerang reception saying I had a courtyard room. This time no reply. When we arrived we were in the old part of the motel upstairs. Not good for elderly people. Also you had to step over a bath tub to have a shower; not good for elderly knees. I hope the Boomerang does better next time.
