Our first choice in Alex.

Whenever we come to Alex, we prefer to stay in Nefeli Hotel. Breakfast, room, everything was good. The hotel is a little bit old but it does not prevent it from being preferred. Location is also close to center.

We went to Alexandroupoli mainly for the sea, but the hotel's pool was actually quite comfortable. We stayed on a full board basis. The full board menu was a bit more limited compared to the restaurant's regular offerings. The same meals tended to repeat, so we ended up eating out 1-2 nights. It would be nice if the menu was refreshed at least once a week with a few new options. After 3-4 nights, having the same dishes for lunch and dinner gets a bit boring. That said, the food was very tasty and the portions were generous — we couldn’t even finish our plates sometimes.

Quite nice hotel and with pleasant staff. It was short trip of a few day but it’s clean and has a fantastic and included hot buffer breakfast The only spoiler for me was that we requested as late check out and were advise that yes no problem you can have an additional 20 mins lol. Pathetic really given that check out was already an hour earlier than normal at 11am with a 3pm check in. They could train their staff better on this subject as would be best to say that there’s no late checkouts instead of this insult.

Being that I was there on business and it was December, I was not able to enjoy the pool. The staff however, was couldn't have been more accomodating. They had a packed hotel on New Years Eve, a big party with excellent buffet, free wine at the tables and free champagne at midnight. A DJ that played music well into the morning. I'm from California and met people from several counties. The other hotel guests were also very friendly. Totally enjoyed my stay. The 2 twin beds pushed together with another single bed in the room was a bit odd,

I was arrived to hotel to check-in around 1 pm which was about 2 hrs, however the front desk didn't let me to check in cause it was early, however it was a low season and hotel was so much quiet enough though . I do recognize their policy for checking time, however front desk lady was lied that the room was already in process of cleaning by room service (which was nothing but a big tricky lie)
