The hotel is beautifully maintained. The grounds are gorgeous. The food within the hotel is very substandard and overpriced.

The property is lovely. Could use some updating. Got stuck in the elevator but it was quickly resolved. Our suite was large and comfortable. Removing the carpet and putting in wood floors would make it feel fresher and cleaner.

Beautiful place if “lavish” for me. Great staff, super clean, amazing bed and shower, really nice breakfast. Get a room overlooking the water. I ate at The Library Bar both nights (January; very very few options) and It was fine as well as the service. Wineries within walking distance and decent trek right from hotel into the hills

Lovely hotel and experience!

I highly recommend The Vintage House to anyone who is staying Pinhao. It is a lovely property with great service, very clean, good food and ambiance. We had an early train and since we didn't have time for breakfast, they provided a bag lunch for us that included sandwiches, croissants, pastries, an apple and water; perfect! All in all, a great experience!

Largest suite I have ever seen

We had a large suite on the third floor overlooking the river. It was wonderful. Breakfast was included and it was a large buffet of hot and cold selections. Parking was easy. Perfect location.

The property is beautiful, with a fantastic location and a room offering a lovely river view. It’s conveniently situated for river tours, and the staff were welcoming and helpful. The entire place was well-maintained and spotless. The only drawback is that it’s a bit pricey.

Heart of the valley

A slice of heaven. Discovered this place 0n a day trip a year ago and knew we had to return for a stay. Now we have to return for several days. So comfortable and beautiful. Highly recommend to anyone who likes wine or not. Love this place, truly a hidden gem!
