Welcome to beautiful Tuscany and the countryside around Lucca! This large property is located about 12 km from the city of Lucca, near the village of Altopascio and just a few kilometres from the medieval village of Montecarlo. An area known for its olive groves and endless vineyards.
Villa Al Glicine is part of a large estate: the property consists of Villa Al Glicine, two apartments that can be rented together with Villa Al Glicine, and some apartments that are rented out on a permanent basis. Access to these long term apartments is the same as to Villa Al Glicine. These tenants have a courtyard area which borders with the villa and apartments and the garden. They are NOT allowed to use the swimming pool and the pool area. Another villa, which is attached to Villa Al Glicine and is currently being finished inside and may be rented out during the season with a separate garden and private pool.
Villa al Glicine Proprietà has all the amenities necessary for a relaxing holiday: a large, completely fenced garden of about 2000 m², a sunken swimming pool (10 m x 5 m, depth 1.20 m), air conditioning, private parking, Wi-Fi and a large terrace with a hot tub.
Villa al Glicine Proprietà comprises the main villa and two ground floor apartments, and can accommodate up to 18 people!

An area worth exploring!
Just a few kilometres from the house is the pretty village of Montecarlo, famous for its DOC wines and olive oil. With its narrow streets, numerous characteristic shops, restaurants and trattorias where you can sample local specialities and enjoy the magnificent view of the surrounding hills, it is definitely worth a visit.
The ‘Wine and Oil Route’ that runs through the Montecarlo area is the ideal destination for walks in search of new flavours, as there are numerous wine cellars that organise wine and oil tastings.
About 5 km away is the beautiful Quercione delle Streghe, 12 km away is Collodi and the Pinocchio Park, and 17 km away is the golf course in Monsummano or the thermal baths of Grotta Giusti.
The city of Lucca (approx. 12 km) with its art treasures is within easy reach, as are other Tuscan cities of art such as Florence (approx. 65 km), Pisa (approx. 40 km) and the sea (Viareggio approx. 40 km).

The villa consists of: entrance into the large living room with 1 double sofa bed, kitchen/dining room with stove, oven, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, dining table, exit to a terrace overlooking the garden, 1 bathroom with shower, toilet, bidet.
First floor: 1 double bedroom with access to the balcony, 2 bedrooms with bunk beds and 1 pull-out single bed, 1 bathroom with shower, toilet and bidet.
On the second floor: 1 large twin bedroom, desk, 1 bathroom with shower, WC, bidet and washbasin, access to a large terrace overlooking the hills as far as Montecarlo, equipped with garden furniture, deckchairs and a whirlpool (inflatable for 3 people).
The villa is located on a large plot of land and has a large garden (a separate part of the garden (courtyard) is reserved for apartments rented on a long-term basis) and a 10 m x 5 m, 1.20 m deep swimming pool, equipped with parasols, gazebo, table, chairs and deck chairs, perfect for relaxing outdoors.
The villa is modernly furnished and very cosy and comfortable.

On request, two apartments on the ground floor (at the level of the rear garden) can be rented (only together with the main villa, which is the version: VILLA AL GLICINE PROPRIETA), which are composed as follows:
- Apartment on the left: kitchen with stove/oven, fridge/freezer, kettle, dining table, access to the garden, 1 large bathroom with toilet, bidet, shower, sink and hairdryer, 1 bedroom with 1 double bed and 2 single beds (the room has no windows, but is equipped with an electric air exchange system.), internal staircase leading to the villa;
- Apartment on the right: Kitchen with stove/oven, fridge/freezer, kettle, dining table, small sofa, TV, washing machine, exit to the garden, 1 large bedroom with 1 double bed and 2 additional single beds (the room has no windows, but is equipped with an electric air exchange system.), 1 small bathroom with washbasin, WC, bidet and shower.
