The location is awesome!! They totally gave this place a face lift and turned nothing into something so cool! The environment is awesome, the front desk guy was so cool!!! It was midnight and this guy had the greatest attitude!! Breakfast was good, the process was efficient, all around loved it and will be back next time we come through!!!

I booked based on reviews. It appears the excellent reviews were for either the lobby or sent in by the lot lizards who were servicing the out of town workers who stay there. Breakfast was far below good. Biscuits and “gravy” not edible, waffles were good.

Nice room safe property with breakfast overall a great night stay also easy to check in and wasnt overcrowded i would say the bathrooms are a bit on the small side but nothing worth complaining about

I did not like my stay at this hotel. The walls are thin and is very noisy as the L shaped of the courtyard itself collects the sound of the people, pets, skateboarders, and street traffic. Also, if you travel with a pet you are required to leave a pet deposit and you will NOT get that back regardless of the situation. I cannot recommend this hotel.

Terrible hotel. Look very dirty & smelly, very old not update, I will recommend not to stay in this hotel in Amarillo TX Couldn’t sleep there I did book another hotel almost for 3X the price

The Atrea Inn has the potential to be a really great place. However, there seems to be a lack of attention to detail when it comes to housekeeping. The floor in our room was filthy. I first noticed the bathroom floor. I tried to do a little damage control, just to get by, but my efforts, without a room and mop were futile. We soon realized that the entire floor had not been swept or mopped. It was pretty disgusting.

Mixed experience but could be good budget

We were really excited about this find and I think our experience was probably out of the norm, based on other reviews, however everything combined I felt like I needed to write an honest review. Overall this is an older motel that has been really nicely renovated. We arrived late and the check in was easy and quick. They placed us in the second building and even though it was midnight there was a group of people outside smoking, drinking and blocking some of the parking. When we got in our room it smelled like pot. It smelled like maybe someone in an adjacent room or outside had been smoking and maybe it had seeped into the room. Because it was so late and we had been driving ALL day we decided to just go to bed and hope it dissipated. The pot smell faded but the smoke smell stayed and even got a bit worse overnight. I wish we had asked for another room because the staff was very professional and apologetic in the morning when we let them know. The beds were fine, but not great. My husband struggled to sleep with the smell and beds both together. Breakfast was pretty basic but the Texas shaped waffle was fun and they had homemade biscuits. Overall if you want something very inexpensive it might be a good option and our experience with the smoke was likely a fluke.

Not trying to bag on the place, but it had an excellent rating at a good price, means it’s too good to be true. The room was ok. A few stains on the bedding. Cigarette butts everywhere. The pics doesn’t do it justice. The surrounding area is the biggest concern, I don’t know this city so I don’t know what I don’t know. The area was a little sketch. I parked my car on the other side next to the court yard. Needed a place to rest my head, but I will not be coming back

Great Motel! Clean and updated for the most part. Comfy beds. Shower was good but small. Room was quiet. The lobby was absolutely gorgeous and the breakfast was good. Not to often you can have a waffle shaped like Texas😂. For the price, you can’t beat it.
