Nice hotel downtown! Free breakfast and a restaurant and bar available is always a plus! Parking is the downside because you have to pay and it’s kind of pricey.

I decided to book here because of the reviews and the fact it had a pool for the kids. When I spoke to the staff about using the pool they said that the pool was used for inappropriate things by the high school students that stayed the night before which is absolutely disgusting and I spoke to the manager whose name was Mark. He said he can go ahead and cancel the book but as far as a refund I would have to take that with the book and company I went with which at this point is just a poor experience. The manager stated there was nothing that can be done and that the poor is an amenity that is optional and not forcely included. I would recommend staying at any of the other great hotels with great reviews who are happy to make sure you have a great stay before running away with your money once they have it.

The staff was wonderful, the property and room were clean and nicely updated, and the breakfast was truly fantastic! The beds, however were hard and uncomfortable and the lumpy pillows were just as bad. We did not sleep well at all. Parking is $33 for a single night in AMARILLO. Not New York City, Amarillo. I’ve paid less to park in a 5 star hotel on Michigan Avenue! Do not recommend and definitely will not return.
