We stayed for 3 nights in August 2024. The owner's had everything in place when we got there and even had a pontoon to rent (reach out to Trisha before your stay and set it up with her). Everything was clean and well kept. There was plenty of space for all 9 of us. The kitchen had plenty of pots, pans, and utensils. The only complaint was that one of the people staying with us said the bed that was in secondary living room was not necessarily "private", but you could still shut the doors leading to the secondary living room to make it more private.
Amery is about a 10 minute drive east and has a grocery store, gas station, liquor store and about any other "essential" thing you would need. St. Croix Falls is about a 20 min drive NW and is a larger town with a Wal Mart a couple mini-golf places and more variety of food options.
There is also Dancing Dragonfly Winery which is a 20 min drive, but it has a fantastic wine selection and food selection!!
The location of the house was right on the lake and beside a small dam. The dam has water running over it and provides enough white noise to drown out the nearby park and neighbors. The house is on the west side of the lake and has a wonderful view in the morning as the sun rises over the lake!
Trisha provided her phone number and said we could reach out if we had any issues, but we didn't have any the whole time we stayed there. Definitely going to book it again next year and, probably, stay longer!
