We travelled with my husband on a business trip to Aalsmeer. Got to our room at 11 p.m.. When we got to our room was freezing cold(February and +3 oC outside). We tried to put on the air conditioning but didn't work. Tried to call to the front desk and phone didn't work either. Went downstairs to get the worker in to our room. When he got there he asked us if we have any window open (because it was so cold). We asked to change us to another room because we could not sleep in such a cold room and that we were going to have a very hard working day next day, but the worker just went to get 2 blankets and answer that the room was not that cold. I did ask the hotel manager to get in contact with me when I check out at 7.30 a.m. but, the worker (different from the night before) just smile like she didn't care. No one ever got in contact with me! This is the way they take care of their clients in this hotel. This was the 3rd time we stayed at this hotel and last time. The floors and the toilets are not clean. Breakfast is also very simple and average.

Dear Lara, I'm very sorry to hear you had a negative experience. We strive to make our guests stay as comfortable as possible. Our A/C system only functions when the windows are closed this is to be more sustainable, our new night receptionist did not know about this and that is a mistake from our side, I have discussed this with your husband in the morning and he understood. I understand that you asked for a room move because that seems like the simplest solution, however we were fully booked that night and were therefore unable to fulfill that request and looked for an different solution with the extra blankets. I will discuss all your feedback with our employees. My sincerest apologies again for disappointing you. We hope that you will forgive us. Brilliant hotel staff really friendly apart from the night shift older man he came across as not very helpful didn't want to help us we came in late every night and asked for a glass of water to which he told us to get from our rooms didn't want to help.... Otherwise it was a brilliant hotel couldn't fault it
