This was a very conveniently located hotel, a short walk from the station. The staff were all very friendly. Room was a good size and pretty comfortable. There didn’t seem to be much noise outside or in the hotel, but this was a midweek stay in January. Breakfast was fine, with a reasonable selection of cold and some hot choices. Overall well worth the price.

Clean,comfortable room, very spacious bed, great blackout curtains. 6 minute walk to the station, 2 minutes to Damrak but peaceful at night. The buffet breakfast was very generous.

Avenue Hotel I stayed in room 306. My shower leaked water all over the floor. Every day I had to use my shower sponge and towels to mop up the water. The rusted stain on the floor from the rubbish bin indicates that this issue has been happening for quite a while. Getting my room cleaned was a challenge and the "Please make up my room" sign was a waste of time. The cleaner was very hard working but she had too many rooms to clean. The reception staff were friendly and helpful and gave me fresh towels on the days that my room was not cleaned. The hotel is in a great location and if it wasn't for the shower and cleaning issues I would have enjoyed my stay and my room a lot more and would have rated my stay as excellent. I was given complementary late check out which I appreciated. I will stay there again

Clean, safe and friendly.staff. very easy and quick walk to central station, and also close to RLD and shopping streets. Good value, room was happily more modern than the hallways. We stayed with a baby and the cot provided was decent quality and we were able to move out buggy and all our bags around the hotel comfortably. Didn't try the breakfast as it was not much better value than eating out. Overall very happy, enjoyable stays, would recommend.

Great place a little dated but clean and in an excellent location - everywhere was walking distance. Nice helpful staff and comfortable rooms. They did breakfast for €15 but we never tried it. Would recommend this place as a good hotel that won't break the budget

If there is a choice of negative star, that’s the rating this hotel deserve. This hotel doesn’t even deserve a one star rating. Not even one staff in all shifts had been accommodating. They are all rude, the rudest people we have encountered. We reported Bathroom leaking and flooded, and they didn’t even offer to fix. In order to move you to another room, you will need to check out 11am and wait until 3pm to check in again even if you’re booked for 5 days. How stupid and inconvenient when it’s not your fault you were assigned a room in bad condition. We also lost passports and money, and they just shrugged off their shoulders. Will definitey not come back to this hotel and will not recommend.
