This was a great simple room. I was expecting the hotel to be noisy being in the heart of the Red Light district and yet I had a calm peaceful night's sleep after a fun night out. The shower and bed were great. The staff were courteous and helpful. I recommend this hotel to anyone coming to Amsterdam.

The room was huge! Great view of the canal and red district. The staff was great!!! They are so kind! My booking came with complimentary wine, which was also good. Walkable location. Due to the location, there will be lots of noise until late night. Didn't bother me personally. The bar downstairs is charming.

The room was clean the staff very helpful. Just remember you are checking into an extremely old hotel that was not originally designed as a hotel. Expect lots of stairs, funny shaped rooms and unhandy lighting and outlets. Just relax and enjoy the fun, excitement and convenience of being located in the middle of old Amsterdam.

I liked that this property is close to the train station-easy to walk to or from. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We stayed with our children as it could accommodate 4 in one room. Our room was quiet for being in such a busy area. With kids, good to be aware that this is the red light district. We generally stayed in after about 6 pm, so worked well for us.

Bang in the middle of the red light District but it felt very safe and staff were friendly and helpful. The stairs to the third floor are narrow and the walls are thin, I could hear someone snoring in the room next door. You can also hear voices from the bar downstairs
