Very old rooms, bathroom was very very uncomfortable an there were no elevators and the steps are steep. The walls had a tapping noise that made it difficult to sleep with and there was construction outside with loud noises.

Nice stay - central

amazing central location just a couple blocks from the Anne Frank's house, pretty building, friendly staff, clean room. We got upgraded to a room with a balcony with no prompting - nice big windows, good view. Noise does come through, but we found that a white noise app basically drowns it all out at night.

Unfortunately i had to leave after one night. * Not clean * Bed bugs *Tv not working *smelly *a man walked into my room in the middle of the night using his key card for another room, no security. I hope i can get some kind of compensation as i had to pay for another hotel and have been itching like mad since leaving the room.

BLOOD IN THE BED - Absolutely disgusting property.this hotel is unsanitary. This hotel is using photos of different rooms to market its property. Stayed mid week May 2025. Photos on Expedia do not accurately represent the property or rooms. Bed is a prison cot style bed. Mattress was yellow and blood stained. Mattress protector was even worse with large blood stains the size of the room card. Bathroom filthy. Window broken, had to use fan to keep window open. Curtains torn. Walls were sticky and visible stains running down them. Contacted Expedia to complain - no assistance given.

Arrived at the property early and explored the area near and seemed very lively and beautiful. Upon arriving to our initial room it appeared as if it wasn’t cleaned at all stains on the sheets, mold in the bathroom. Went to front desk and were given another room which was better but very much so had similar issues. The rooms are incredibly different than the pictures. Seems as if the pictures are from when it was owned by different people. Very deceiving place

Peison cell look

On arrival the stairs to reception are very steep. I asked the receptionist if he could help me with my bag he kindly did. On the way out another receptionist guy saud he was too tired to help!!! This says it's a 2 star hotel. Rubbish not even a 1 star. In room 2 beds one chair one bedside cabinet. Honestly it was almost like a prison cell tbh. Now I'm not 5 star hotel kind of person. And I've stayed in some nice hostels and caravans. If your just going to party this room would be okay as theres nothing in it to ruin! So yeah very disappointed with this hotel.

Hotel was good, room was nice and clean. Nice balcony area and most of the staff nice. Theres some major roadworks ongoing directly outside but the noise isnt too bad. One of the receptionists attempted to insult me but its OK, I'd also be bitter if I was working on a hotel reception in my old age.

The " death stairs to the desk and rooms is like nothing we have ever experienced. If you have large bags don't stay here. This is a backpackers hotel with prices that are well above the norm for this type of property.

One coat hanger in the room for a week stay with 2 people, floor was covered in dirt and grime as well as leaves blown in due to balcony door being left open, dust all over and hairs in the bed we decided not to risk stopping here after we looked and saw reviews of bedbugs hotel not worth the time of day, shocking.

Very basic room, en suite was good. Very steep stairs from street to 2nd floor reception and another two flights to the room: not for the faint hearted or those with a lot of luggage. Tourist tax is an extra cost.
