Front desk staff are amazingly helpful with check-in, baggage, directions to where I wanted to go. Breakfast had a nice variety with hot food, fruits, breads, yogurt….. Room was very clean and well attended to daily. Location was near central train station and other public transportation. Places to eat were close by.

Excellent breakfast and coffee. Second oldest bar in Amsterdam is attached. Only negative was elevator out of service and we were on the third floor.

Great location, I stayed in a room across from the main hotel. It had a large room and bathroom by European standards. The stairs were very steep though. Included breakfast was a nice bonus!

Amsterdam stop on way to River Cruise

Great hotel in downtown Amsterdam close to the train station. Many restaurants and bars in the close vicinity. Three nights here before going on a river cruise. Cloe to the port.

PROS about the hotel : excellent location, conveniently located close to central station, attached to a restaurant/bar, free breakfast buffet with numerous options NEGATIVE about the hotel: rooms smell like old water/mold, some of the lamps by the bed did not work (bulbs were dead), room has NO AC, room gets very loud and we were woken up around 6 am from the city workers removing the trash ; beds are very tiny The hotel also only provides 1 key for your entire group, and you have to leave the key with the front desk staff as you exit the hotel, and receive the key again when you check in. This is such an outdated system and it is just not efficient when you are traveling with multiple people!!
