Location was very convenient for all trip destinations. Took 10 minutes to get into Amsterdam Central from Ruby Hotel. Also convenient location for the fast train to Leiden/Rotterdam. Hotel was lovely and check in was extremely easy and straight forward. Love that you can exchange a cleaning service for two free drinks. Drinks at hotel were good. McDonald’s opposite though it is more expensive than McDonald’s in the centre. Dominoes deliver to hotel. Hotel was clean and tidy though wish room had some English tea only had herbal.

Turned up late (sound 10pm.was told the chef went home at 9!)so no feed available. £40euro for a bottle of average wine. Staff not overly helpful. Room wasn't overly clean. Water (I think) stains on toilet seat and floor, hadn't been wiped. The pillows are to thick and very uncomfortable. Bed was good. Shower was really good. Breakfast! - 25 euro each! Not worth 15 euro. It is a handy hotel to get to the train station to get into Amsterdam central.

The room was huge and the bed was very comfortable. Loved the bath that came with the room. However the room was very hot and we couldn’t get any airflow

While the property was lovely and the staff friendly and accommodating, the automated technology in the room led to a frustrating stay. The lights are remotely controlled by an iPad and some are also automated, so they come on when you don't want them to. For example, when you need to use the bathroom at night, the light in the WC turns on automatically, along with a bright night light in the hall, illuminating the room and waking my husband. Worse yet, I'm often the up before my husband

Not Ideal for Family

I did not like this hotel at all. It may look cool to press a button and have the elevator flash a light to indicate which one is available and to simply drop off your key card into a box for the check out (all very convenient). However, face to face support is still needed. I had only one towel in my room but luckily found someone in the corridor to ask for more (or???). The room was hot and noisy. Even the mattress was squeaky. The TV was the worse— not connecting possibly because of the bad internet signal. Bathroom is wide open. Excellent standing shower but if you want privacy— there’s none (glass door). Would not recommend this hotel for family. Good room space and amenities including a small fridge. Good for business trip. Well located near metro.

Our flight was cancelled and so we were unable to travel. Despite the airline being willing, the hotel refused to change the date. If booking, please be very careful to check the cancellation policy as I unfortunately missed it. Very unusual for a hotel chain.
