misleading representation of a "remodeled" hotel

We requested a hotel in "Butte - NOT Anaconda. We saw the reviews were in the 9.2. We thought it was good. The hotel was FAR off the freeway. When we got to the hotel, instead of finding a "modern" hotel, we found a very old, updated hotel. The bathroom was too small to dress in. No microwave in the room. No cable TV, a Roku box TV. Coffee maker did not work- sometimes. No food for breakfast. No place to hang clothes. The room was constricting. To be fair the linens in the room had been updated and repainted. But the layout/design of the room was still old. If you had some reason to come to that town, maybe a "higher" review might be given like a 5 or 6. We were trying to stay close to the freeway and in Butte. All these things considered the ratings should be 3.0 to a 4.0 at the very highest. Part of the responsiblity for this score is Hotels.com itself. This hotel should never been on Hotels.com in the first place. Second, when a search is made for a hotel, it should be IN that city - not some other city. My mom who was traveling with me, would have wrote a much harsher review. She was very very unhappy.

Super Hard Bed

This hotel, super cute! However I understand the contactless, but all the breaksfast items were wiped out before morning. Second the bed was incredibly hard and we left at 5am after getting in at 11pm. I got bo sleep and my hips were brusied, and not in a good way. If you like hard as a rock...this is your place.
