With front-row views of Cook Inlet, the volcanoes, and Stariski Creek, this place offers more than just a stay—it offers a story. Guests can enjoy peaceful moments and magical sunsets that stretch across the water and sky.
Our family roots at this homestead date back to 1892, when my great-great-great-grandfather, Henry Lindstrang, arrived in Cook Inlet. Captivated by the beauty of Homer, he settled in Stariski and began homesteading. This home was built by my grandfather in 1978, who grew up on this very land and built this family home. It holds a deep family history—once home to a fish trap and fox farm shared by the Lindstrang/Walli family.
During your stay at this holiday home, you'll be close to Stariski State Recreation Site. Laundry facilities are available. Free WiFi and a kitchen are available in the holiday home.

Owner’s hospitality was outstanding in every way. The home was amazing, warm with plenty of space for a family. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare great meals at home. The location was perfect for the activities we planned on in the area but the amazing views of the Cook Inlet also made is very special if we just wanted to stay home by the wood burning stove and chill or read a book.
