Rooms are kind of ghetto. No bottled water in room. Staff is rude. With over one day notice, I was not allowed to check out early. They blame “3rd party” and policies. No flexibility with life circumstances demand that plans change. Manager refused to call me to resolve the problem

Adequate, esp for just one night

We stayed for one night, May 2025. The lobby is bright & updated, the rooms are not. The bathroom looked nothing like the pictures online. (I book hotels based on bathrooms). The layout of the room was awkward. Despite having a “living room”, the way it is broken up leaves everything feeling very tiny. A kitchenette sink essentially right beside the bathroom sink is unnecessary. The mini fridge door drags on the carpet. No exhaust fan in the bathroom. I have also never been charged for an early check-in. If the room is available, you check in. If it’s not, you don’t. This property charges a full night’s stay for early check in before 2 pm. Half a night’s stay from 2-3 pm. No charge after 3 pm. I chose to visit with friends (also staying at the property) in the lobby until allowed to check in. Signage directing you to amenities not always correct. There is no ice machine on the first floor, but the arrows on the sign who have you believe there is. The machine is located on the second floor, but there are no signs directing you to it. Electronic key cards are required to be turned back in to the front desk or there is a charge of $15. I am not likely to stay at this property in the future.

Way too hot!

The heat inside this hotel was unbearable. Walking into the lobby felt like a suana. I literally had sweat dripping from my forehead onto the check in counter in the short amount of time it took to check in. I commented to the girl at check in and she indicated it was always that hot. The entire hotel is this hot. We had to run the air conditioning at full blast all night despite the 50* temperature outside, and anytime we pause the air our room would heat up quickly. Additionally the door to our room was jammed, due to being hung poorly and we had to ram it with our shoulde to unjam it. Once again the front desk was aware of this issue and shrugged it off. The breakfast was fine, but the bathtub was dirty.

The Clarion is a nice hotel, overpriced for what it offers. Breakfast was watery scrambled eggs, et al. Nothing remarkable or special. Nice to have Benihana for dinner right there.

I walked showered after the day to find the towel holder not attached to the wall purposefully after somone tore it off. I had not much money and my security deposit was taken.

At 11:15 pm there was the smell of marijana in the hallway onthe first floor. The desk clerk and I smelled the scent and it was very. strong. I went. to my room and. the smell came through the walls, especially in the seating area. I. closed the door to the bathroom to close off the smell. The next. morning I had a terrible headache. I opened the window to let fresh air in and someone was in the parking lot smoking marijana. I like this hotel, but they need to stop the marijana smoking on and around the premises.

Homeless in area be aware

Saw a homeless person take off a window screen off a office window of the hotel. Informed front desk about someone trying to break into building and it seems like they didnt care. Never called for police and no security on site. Later saw hotel personal outside and they asked me what side of building person was trying to enter; I told them again if was the hotel office side. Stayed 4 nights and no maid service not once. Thought there would be service every other day or so but nothing
