We were flabbergasted with the condition of the room and the lack of any chairs other than a metal stack chair. If we weren’t so exhausted we would have gone to another hotel!

It was dirty, elevator was very dirty, rooms needed refurbished. Doors needed replace. By trains which kept us awake all night. Breakfast started at 6 and we were there at 7. No sausage, no bagels and no coffee. When asked they were out of bagels, making more sausage and coffee. No yogurt no fruit.

Booked Studio Suite, 1 Queen Bed, Non Smoking (Efficiency) online in February. Informed at check- in that type of room is no longer offered at this site. First given keys to an occupied room. Then given keys to our replacement room. Queen bed, two broken metal kitchen type chairs, tv is what we have. Overall the facility is in need of repairs. Carpeting stained throughout. I do not recommend this facility to anyone.

Clean comfortable hotel easy walking distance to shops and restaurant. Minus was no coffee making in room and always seemed to be items missing from the breakfast buffet. However would stay here again.

I stayed for 5 days in a room shared with two others, and unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. The room was never cleaned during our stay, and I had to request basic essentials like towels and even toilet paper. The staff at breakfast was rude, which added to the negative experience. I understand that staffing can be a challenge, especially in Alaska, but guest experience should always be a priority—especially in a place that depends on tourism. The only reason I’m giving it a 2 instead of a 1 is because of the location. Otherwise, there’s a lot of room for improvement in customer service and overall hospitality. I wouldn’t recommend this place unless changes are made.

The place is nothing as show on the pictures, the room smells like smoke and l asked for non smoking room, the room was dirty, l had to stay outside most of the day only to come back and sleep in the night because of the smell , needed a better room or a refund, they said they will but have not seen any, called them when l got home but they asked me to call hotel.com for it

The outside of the structure looked fairly good but deceiving. The inside was horrendous…evidence of the renovation including wood shavings, paint drippings, etc. in the elevator and in the rooms. The first room we were given had feces in the toilet and on the toilet seat and the second room we requested had dirty and wrinkled sheets. One bed had food stains on the bottom sheet. Later a half dead mouse was found in the corner of the room. The Board of Health should do an investigation of the building. We are most grateful for Expedia who helped us secure a refund.

We had booked two beds, but when we checked in the room only had one bed. The desk staff told us that the tvs were not working. They offered to shuttle us to a sister hotel Wyndham Garden Anchorage, Airport. Which was awful (flaking paint above the bathtub, no stopper in sink, bathroom door didn't shut properly. We helped move portable bed from storage to our room, after two hours of manager and maintenance not picking up their phone, finally settled after midnight.

The room was clean and spacious and breakfast was a 6/10. The hotel is an older building but refurbished. The best feature is that it is on a walking trail along Ship Creek where you can see fisherman going after salmon.

Property is well worn but servicable and busy with train passengers like up do to its great location. Room was clean and freshly painted with comfortavle bed but the breakfast was non-existent for us - literally out of everything and rhe one lady working could not kepp up. The very limited staff is working hard here but the manager needs work. She is the problem here.
