I booked this hotel on Expedia in error at 7:45 pm for a reservation that same night Then I booked a different Hilton hotel in the area through Expedia for the same night- the correct hotel. Sent a message to Expedia to cancel the Doubletree within 15 minutes of making the reservation . Called the doubletree Annapolis front desk to cancel the hotel as well - they said Expedia had to do it. You cannnot call Expedia but I had already sent a message to them via the app to cancel. Booking made in error please cancel and neither one will refund the money. This is despite staying in a different Hilton- the same night - same area - same name! We did not check in to the Doubletree and the reservation was “live” for 15 minutes.

Staff was amazing!!! The place was clean!!! Bathroom was out dated and had a couple holes in the ceiling by the fan. Pillows were tiny, that was probably my biggest issue. Had a restaurant inside, didn’t stop in during the evening. Had breakfast, price was reasonable. Got the buffet, food was good!

The room was excellent, and the staff was as well. Special kudos to Jody behind the desk. The hotel bar /restaurant is fantastic and the bartender, Carlos, was amazing! We had a great time in the bar ringing in the new year.

Pillows are bad. Room was clean enough, but they aren't cleaning in the corners. There's dust and hair in the corners and the grout, if you look closely. Overall fine for a one night trip though. Midrange hotels in Annapolis are surprisingly bad and this one is at least above average. Would stay here again.

The water in the faucet in the bathroom was extremely hot. The shower was lukewarm. The knob wouldn’t move toward the hot side. Unfortunate to stay there two nights with no hot shower considering the temperatures outside and reason for the stay was a bowl game with prices doubled from the norm.

Room was nice. Staff acted as though they had rather be anywhere else but there. Had several issues with key card and they never said they were sorry. Key card would not operate tower door entrance after they told me to use this door. Went back to reception and they said the entrance sensor must not be working - no apology no reasonable explanation- nothing. Acted as if they did not want to be put out. 2nd night the key card would not open room door. Had to go to reception to rekey. Again no apology- the guy didn’t even look at me - just rekeyed and gave it back. Customer service is below Hilton standards. I will think twice about staying here again. PS the cookie was delicious.

Rooms were comfy, clean, quiet, and modern. The TV was nice and large, and any time we needed maintenance, they came up right away. The thing that stood out the most though was the front desk staff. They were super friendly, personable, amiable, and accomidating. I highly recommend staying here.
