When entering the hotel, the hallway to our room was disgusting. It appeared to have poop or mud in the hallway. When we arrived in the room, it reeked of cigarette smoke. The pillows were TERRIBLE, they were like deflated tires. There was water damage on the ceiling and lots of noises in the hallway at night so we couldn't sleep. The bedding was very cheap as well. Additionally, the bathtub was rusted and dirty. It was a very disappointing stay.

The facility is in need of some updates. Carpets in room desperately need to be steam cleaned, the musty smell is overwhelming. It's a great facility, just needs some attention to cleanliness

Nice that they were able to open the bar for us and I give Carlos the bartender five stars. He is awesome! I will say that they do need to somehow lubricate the door on the elevator to go upstairs and it is very squeaky LOL

Great location and lots of amenities nearby. BUT…bathroom tub, tiles, floor and vents had human hair that had not been removed. Manager said “she could do nothing” since I booked through third party after I brought the lack of cleanliness issue to her attention.

Overall the property is dated and drab. The elevator was out of order. There were no signs telling you where to find the stairways upward, which ended up being well away from my room. The more convenient stairway doors were locked (exit only) all day. I was charged some fees on my credit card which I discovered after I checked out. Three calls and left messages were not returned. The fees were eventually reversed but it would have been nice to get a call back. The rooms are Ok, water pressure is very good (which I like), my room was quiet so I slept well. Overall, nothing special and not big on customer service.

We pre-paid for the room via Expedia. On check-in we were understandably asked for a small deposit for any in-room purchases. The card reading machines at the check in desk were clearly malfunctioning. My spouse and I put in three different (but completely valid) bank cards, and the machine rejected all of them. In a lobby full of guests (and our party) this was rather uncomfortable. The staff were kind, but this was a technical error that needs to be corrected to prevent future guests from having similar bad experience on check-in.
