It's an old beautiful structure which unfortunately means very thin walls and lack electric outlets. I would stay maybe in cabins next time . The buffet breakfast was great with wide selection.

Enjoyed one night

We enjoyed our stay. Arrived early so we could try and get in an unplanned round of golf. Very happy the front desk staff accommodated (with an upgrade). The breakfast was included with a summer rate and was amazing!! The elevator was out of order during our stay. We were fine to walk the stairs but dragging out bags up and down was difficult. We used the pool and it was quite nice. The area was lovely.

It is an exceptional place. Lovely area, nice rooms, interesting and good meals. EXCEPT The one and only elevator has been broken for over a month. Third floor? 60 steep stairs with your heavy suitcase. 60 stairs for the 70 plus year olds in the bus emptying off in front of you. With canes and hateful stuff to say to you when they leave you. Missing the right parts? Call the biggest supplier area on this company in North America and have them flown in!! Why? Because every week you are asking old people to crawl up to the third floor.

Nice to stay in a very stately hotel, although definitely showing its age. The buffet breakfast was second to none. Great views from the property. Lots of areas ooutside to walk and sit. Our room was close to the elevator and ice machine, so quite noisy.

The property is a beautiful heritage building and grounds. Unpretentious and welcoming. Enjoyed using the pool and trails with our grandchildren. Breakfast was really good (didn't eat any other meals there) Staff was excellent.

We recently stayed at The Pine Golf Course Resort in Nova Scotia, and unfortunately, our experience was quite disappointing given the price. The hotel is extremely run-down, with several issues during our stay. Our bathroom had mold and residue, and there was no soap provided. The room was quite small, and the elevators were not functioning. Additionally, the gym was broken. Overall, the resort did not offer the quality we expected for the cost, and we hope they can address these concerns for future guests.
