It is an historic building and they want to keep it as original as possible, to us it looks like they have 3 parts for his hotel, the main one has a bit more of noise and activity, the second part has the garden and it’s more calm, and the 3rd part it’s more quite and private like a vip, it has a different entrance away from the main entrance, it is in our bucket list to get a room there for the next time we come. The whole staff is amazing and they always welcome you, they have live music on Fridays, maybe over the weekend too, not a o sure.

Just right for Antigua

Folks at the front desk were exceptional in service and friendliness. Landry service was also excellent. A bit noisy with the bell outside and restaurant adjacent to rooms. However, I’ve needed earplugs for most of my trip in Guatemala. Great location with good restaurants right across the street. And La Tortilla cooking school is close by.
