The hot spring is nice. There are a lot of free stuffs serving at 21.00 - 23.00 (ramen, apple juice and ice cream). The room was cleaned properly everyday. Foods serving on breakfast are delicious.

I’m a regular Aomori visitor. I arrived Sunday to attend a seminar. I stayed 2 nights. I should have reserved 3 nights. This was one of the better stays in Aomori.

This was disappointing. The standard-double was clearly designed for single occupancy (and that's allowing for the fact that Japanese hotel rooms are always on the small side). They charge you if you want your room cleaned and this was not made clear in the booking. They make you put your own towels and rubbish outside the room if you want them changed/emptied. In other words, it's not offering a standard hotel service ... more like a hostel - one where you do the work for them. Not sure I've ever been asked to pay extra to have a room cleaned. Tiny bottles of water provided. Location is good but overall, the meanness of the service left a very bad impression.

The dormy inn Aomori is an excellent choice for a short stay in the area. The hotel is clean, the rooms are comfortable and the staff is extremely gracious. I chose this because I wanted to stay in a hotel that had access to an onsen, and this one did not disappoint. The onsen facility was clean, never over crowded and a nice temperature even during the hot summer. A complimentary cream or popsicle after you soak was a bonus.

Fantastic hotel to stay at. Onsen and relaxation room were fantastic. The hotel is very clean and quiet. Rooms are very nice as well. The only thing I could possibly note are the pillows. I had to go out and buy one that was a more comfortable. But besides that one thing, the hotel is fantastic. I would definitely stay here again.

Great stay

It was a most pleasant stay in my trip. Clean and good location. Breakfast was excellent. Hot spring in the middle of the city and on the top of the hotel, looking at the beautiful view of Aomori port with the cruise ship lit up at night. There were complimentary strawberry jelly in the fridge in the room. All the staff was courteous and helpful. I would love to stay in this hotel again.
