My family loved this place.

Service was phenomenal. My family and I had one of the best meals ever at the restaurant. The chef is exceptional. Everything was charming, comfortable and easy going. Money very well spent.

Stunning views from each private cabana. Gorgeous landscaping to draw the birds up close. Very clean, quiet and secluded. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Loved our stay! Shops and restaurants within walking distance to pick up needed items and food. Highly recommend La Mansion, it was perfect!

This property is fantastic . My wife and I stayed two days and loved it . The view is amazing . The staff were great . Everyone was so friendly and great service . You need a car to go see the attractions that are about 30 minutes away. The bar and restaurant are great . They even have a pool table and other games . Also just next door there is another great restaurant . Our villa was great with a porch overlooking the lake . Pool and hot tub was very nice . We will defiantly come back ! Check in and check out were easy .

La Mansion is a beautiful property. Very unique with individual villas. We stayed in #10, which has three bedrooms, a kitchen, and it's own heated pool. The views of Lake Arenal are truly amazing. The staff was the best! Very nice, polite, fun and helpful. The restaurant is great too. We stayed here due to its proximity to La Fortuna. It's close enough to drive back and forth but far enough away to get out of the hustle and bustle of the town. I highly recommend you consider La Mansion.

Best place to stay near Arenal Volcano

The absolutely best place to stay near Arenal volcano. Such a beautiful resort with a great Costa Rican country flair. Comfortable rooms beautiful views delicious food.

It if a very unique property with great views. However, there was little to no hot water for showers. We told staff about this, and they came to look at it. After that, we would get hot water for a minute and then back to cold water.

You hear birds singing and lots of trucks roving engine when trying to climb uphill. I paid for most expansive family room which was right next to the street. I requested change that was declined with simple line “Rooms are already assigned and booked. There were only 2 people who running bar, kitchen, serving food, who also checked us in. Breakfast is as per menu. Strictly 1 item/person. I had light breakfast for myself, as I’m early riser. I came back with my family for their breakfast and asked for another cup of coffee when host replied that it’s not possible, as I have already had my breakfast. Same answer for my son who asked if he can have a cup of yogurt with his omelette. No internet. I asked for internet when host replied that my boss is coming to fix it, which never happened. TV was apparently connected to the internet as well. Not sure why they had metal lockable jail doors out side of the siding door of our room and even windows. It could be just design, But room key was to metal door.

Waking up to bird chirping and viewing sunset from pool is absolutely breathtaking . You need a car to commute . Taxis/ uber needs to be booked in advance . Breakfast options are limited. Pool / jacuzzi should be open till later in the evening . We enjoyed the pool table and chess in the late evening with kids.

The staff here is exceptional. Cesar is a great host and will do whatever it takes to make your stay memorable. He booked our white-water rafting trip for us. Chris, in the restaurant, was very attentive and even passed along some messages from the rafting company to us. It is about 20 minutes out of La Fortuna with a beautiful view of Lake Arenal. Lots of birds to see, too. This was the 2nd time we’ve stayed here and when we get back to CR, we will stay there again.
