The Space:
Welcome to Bridges Bay Retreat — a peaceful pond-front cabin in Bridges Bay where you can enjoy all the fun of Okoboji while still having a quiet place to come home to.
The home is clean, open, and comfortable, making it an easy place for families and groups to spend time together. With two main level bedrooms, a bathroom on each floor, and a large open loft, there’s plenty of room to spread out. The two main bedrooms feature spacious king beds and TVs for relaxing at the end of the day, while the open loft offers a queen bed and triple twin bunks, making it a fun bonus space for kids, games, or simply hanging out.
The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you'll need for your stay, including cooking and dining utensils, a blender, coffee maker, dishwasher, and more. Each bathroom has a shower/tub combo and is stocked with shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel. There is a washer and dryer available for use during your stay.
The Outdoor Space:
The pond is one of our favorite parts of the property. Step outside and enjoy direct access to a stocked catch-and-release pond where you can fish, paddle, or simply relax by the water. We provide fishing poles, life jackets, and a kayak for guests to enjoy. The pond is known for being an easy place to catch a few fish — just remember to bring your worms!
The patio is a great spot to eat outside, grill, play some yard games, or just sit and enjoy the sunset. The home faces the sunset, and the area is generally very quiet.
Rainy Day?
No problem! The mostly finished garage gives you another place to hang out. Open the garage door, play some board games or yard games, and watch the rain without having to spend the whole day inside.
Bridges Bay Amenities:
You'll have access to all of the Bridges Bay amenities during your stay, including six daily passes to Boji Splash Indoor & Outdoor Waterpark. Waterpark hours vary by season.
If you don't feel like spending the day at the waterpark, there are also two outdoor pools within an easy walking distance of the home that guests can use. These are a nice option for a more relaxed pool day.
Bridges Bay also has a fitness center, playground, basketball court, arcade, zipline, and other activities available to you during your stay. There are also two highly rated restaurants right on the resort, Waterfront & Bracco, so you don't have to go far for dinner.
When you're ready to explore, Arnolds Park is less than a 10-minute drive away, along with the rest of what Okoboji has to offer!
Other things to note:
- Pets allowed with prior approval and fee. Unauthorized pets result in a $150 fee
- Driveway parking for up to 3 vehicles. No parking on grass per HOA regulations. Overflow parking available near Bridges Bay Resort
- Waterpark hours of operation may vary and are beyond host control. Please verify before booking
- Waterpark passes are not available on the day of check-out unless preapproved
- No smoking or vaping inside the home or garage. Smoking allowed outside with proper disposal
- Quiet hours 10 PM to 8 AM
