We are a family of two adults and two kids who recently stayed at Le Tahiti by Pearl Resorts. Unfortunately, our experience was not as great as we had hoped.
The property and facilities were in strictly okay condition. The photos on Expedia looked better than the actual property. While the hotel claims to have the strongest WiFi on the island, we found that it only worked well in the living room and not at all in the bedroom. Room service was inconsistent; sometimes they responded quickly, but other times it took too long. Getting around required taxi service, and sometimes the wait was more than 30 minutes, so planning ahead was essential.
On the upside, the staff were generally helpful. They assisted us with local knowledge and were accommodating in arranging taxi services. Our check-in and check-out experience was generally smooth. However, language was occasionally a barrier as not everyone was comfortable with English; most spoke French, which we did not know.
Overall, we did not have a great experience, but we appreciated the helpfulness of the staff.
