Good place when you need a sleep.

Overnighted in Ashburton, required a place to sleep. Hotel Ashburton was well priced and well situated. Of course, it wasn't expensive so you need to expect what you pay for. The property is tired but the staff were great, the bed comfortable, the room clean. It was fine.

Great value for money. My room smelt of cigarette smoke which was a shame. Breakfast was good but the coffee was one of the worst I’ve had EVER.

The only negative about this property is that is quite far from the central part of the town. It is really not walkable distance.

The hotel is now let down by the quality of the rooms. Hotel rooms are now tired and facilities such as showers over the bath belong to a bygone era. However food and staff were great.
