Delight in easy access to a host of outdoor activities and adventures, including hiking, biking, fishing, swimming, rafting, tubing, kayaking, ziplining, and skiing. After action-packed days of outdoor fun, discover the culture and cuisine of Asheville mere minutes from your door.

LIVING AREA

Relax on a large sectional in the living area. In the evening, settle in to enjoy favorite shows on the 50 smart TV.

KITCHEN & DINING

Whip up tasty meals in the kitchen, equipped with wooden countertops, a double basin sink, and a full suite of appliances.

Gather for mealtime at the two-person kitchen table. There is additional seating for two between a desk and a separate table.

BED & BATH

This two-story home sleeps up to five guests in two suites.

Find comfort in the master suite, complete with a plush queen bed, 32 smart TV, walk-in closet, and an en-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower.

The guest suite is outfitted with a twin-over-full bunk bed, while the en-suite guest bathroom comes with a tub/shower combination.

A half bath is located off the living area.

OUTDOOR AREA & AMENITIES

Kick back in the two armchairs and start the day with fresh coffee on the front porch.

In the evening, sizzle steaks and veggies on the gas grill, then dine alfresco at the outdoor table for two on the side deck.

THE LOCATION

A wide range of outdoor activities can be found nearby. Or head 3.5 miles to discover a plethora of hip dining, shopping, and entertainment options along the Haywood Corridor. Browse galleries, museums, and boutiques in the River Arts District. Or continue into the heart of downtown Asheville for more culture and cuisine.

For a historical outing, visit the opulent Biltmore Estate (6.5 miles).

Visit the WNC Nature Center, a zoo showcasing the flora and fauna of the Southern Appalachian region, with more than 60 animal species (10 miles).

Find gorgeous views and outdoor adventure at Chimney Rock State Park and Lake Lure (29 miles).

In the winter, hit the slopes at Wolf Ridge Ski Resort (34 miles) or Cataloochee Ski Area (37 miles).

Things to Know
Check-in time: 4:00 p.m. Check-out time: 10:00 a.m. All guests shall abide by Vacasa’s good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises. This property is managed by Vacasa North Carolina LLC. All Vacasa properties comes with a starter kit to assist you on your first day before having to go out and purchase additional items. This includes: dish sponge, dish soap, dishwasher packet, laundry packet. Bathrooms will have 2 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom, shampoo, conditioner and hand soap.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles.

Please note: this home resides in a noise-sensitive area and the owners participate in our Good Neighbor protection program. Our smart home technology will alert our team if excessive decibel or occupancy levels are detected, allowing us to reach out directly with a reminder of maximum occupancy and quiet hours. This technology is privacy compliant, and only monitors the presence of decibels and devices-not any personal conversation or information. Thank you for supporting our efforts to be good neighbors!

Overall excellent property, very clean, layout is excellent, kitchen very well provisioned, sizeable parking area with easy access to the property. We did experience a number of minor maintenance issues which only minimally impacted the stay. Most importantly for VRBO patrons: the property is managed by Vacasa hence one must complete their rental agreement and all interactions during the stay are with Vacasa, not VRBO.

West Asheville Getaway

We had a long weekend in Asheville and this was a great option for our family of four. The location close to West Asheville put us in close proximity to some great restaurants and breweries and still only 15 minutes from downtown Asheville. The property was clean and had everything needed for a base point that allowed us to get to all of the places in Asheville we wanted to visit with ease.

Verification madness

The house looks nice and everything, but they failed to tell me I needed to verify to rent the house. If they would have told me, I would have just booked a different place. Instead, they didn’t, so they decided that I didn’t get to stay at the place I ALREADY paid for. They told me I had to refund it, which in the Vrbo app I technically couldn’t, so they canceled it themselves, which didn’t even return all my money.the people who helped me where nice though.

Excessive Road noise

Not sure if it was due to the overall road construction? The main bedroom was extremely loud with traffic noise. We are country bumpkins though and was expecting more a cabin in the mountain feel.

Home was very clean and comfortable. The only thing missing were hangers in the closets and wine glasses. My fine Cabernet Sauvignon tasted a bit different drinking it out of a mason jar. Could use some softer pillows for stomach sleepers. Otherwise, a great place.

fit the purpose

The home is nice. Couches are comfy but the covers could use a cleaning. The wifi works well, cable tv includes only the most basic free network channels (like 5 total) so don't expect to watch most sports or non-network news. Also, the bunk. bed upstairs was not assembled properly, or the screws came loose. When my 70 lb son went up he called me in because the whole thing was rocking really bad with every little movement. My kids love bunk beds and are inclined toward risk so its saying a lot when he doesn't feel secure. Both boys slept on the bottom for our time there. All in all it was fine.

Sweet clean property. My friends and I really enjoyed our stay. The little porch on the back was perfect for watching fireflies. The bed was a little firm for me, but it’s a great home.

Super cute and conveniently located!

This was a quick 10 minute drive to downtown Asheville and West Asheville. The home was super cute and was perfect for our group. It conveniently had the perfect work desk setup that we used for a friend that had to work during the trip. It is VERY quiet! So quiet that I put a sound machine on my phone at night to block out how insanely quiet it was at night since I’m not used to sleeping in such a quiet place. That was AMAZING! The rooms and beds are very comfortable.

Convenient location with some issues

This house was conveniently located to downtown Asheville. Check in was super easy. There were some issues. The road noise is bad from the master bedroom. The shades don’t block light. The rooster across the street started up at 6:30am and didn’t stop. If you book, bring your own pillows. One provided were very flat. Bunk beds were more comfortable than master. Tip for owner, leave directions for living room TV. So many remotes and devices. Ice maker is broken. College age people might really enjoy but this location not good if you need rest on your vacation.

Great stay in mid city

We had a great stay in west Asheville. Location was convenient to all downtown locations within easy driving distance. Property was very clean and well appointed. Only negative was front bedroom was noisy at night, but there was a sound machine to help mask the noise.

Perfect!

Our girls trip was perfect at this Cool Springs location! The entire place was super clean and fit perfectly for our 4 adults. Keeping in mind the second bedroom is a bunk bed!
