The space
Experience the ultimate mountain getaway at our charming suite located on Elk Mountain Scenic Hwy. Nestled amidst the breathtaking scenery, this cozy suite offers unrivaled views of the majestic mountains. Immerse yourself in the tranquility of nature while enjoying the comfort and convenience of our mountain space. Perfect for those seeking a peaceful retreat, our space is designed to provide a memorable and rejuvenating experience surrounded by the beauty of Elk Mountain. Keep your eyes peeled for bears and other wildlife!

Kitchen is very well stocked with a 4 burner stove, small oven, microwave, toaster, pots and pans, knives, silverware and dishes. Coffee maker (With coffee), basic spices, and cooking oil are also available.

All linens and paper products are provided. We also provide fluffy robes!
Guest access
Serenity Suite has its own entry and access. A lockbox code and key will be provided in check-in details 24-28 hours in advance. Please note, we will try to accomodate an early check-in or late check-out, but please know that it is not always possible due to cleaning schedule and ensuring cleaners have an appropriate amount of time to ready the unit. For check-ins or outs more than 2 hours early or late, we reserve the right to request an early/late fee of $25/hour.

Guests have access to the 2 acre compound. Feel free to stroll around. A wildflower meadow was planted in 2021 and it's pretty exciting to see the results. And more recently, a fruit orchard containing Apples, Asain Pears, Cherries, Figs, Plums, and Peaches. You are welcome to take some fruit or flowers back to the cottage when in season!

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Gather used towels
Remove personal items and remove leftover food and drinks
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
For check out, if you will, just start the dishwasher with any dirty dishes and place dirty towels in the shower floor of the bathroom. You can find dishwasher tabs under the kitchen sink.
Bag up any trash please. Please leave bagged trash either in the can or just inside the door (we don't want to attract any animals by leaving trash outside).
Don't worry about stripping the bed. We will take care of that!

The views are spectacular. Thank you to the hosts who made us feel welcome. The cottage had everything we needed. Loved walking around the outdoor areas. It was so easy to get to the forest and feel as if we had a private space in the Blue Ridge Mountains.
